I'm not sure the livestock traits can be fixed with the new system without an excessive amount of work.
Each livestock trait would have to enable a new job.
Except if you have multiple livestock traits that falls apart.

@intrepid maybe you had the precursor traits mod. Gives traits that give -2 points and traits that give varying years of lifespan up to 1k or 5k cant remember

There was a trait that gave 1000 years leader lifespan and now its outright missing from the options and all my games. Maybe it was from another mod but this was my only trait mod.

I created a patch what add tags to traits for evo predators origin.
I'm not good in stellaris modding so it's entire mod with updated files, you should use only it

There seems to be a hidden compatch within with Plentiful Traditions 4.x that causes some traits to provide bonuses to Livestock such as +energy or +metal when both mods are enabled but those modifiers dont work in 4.0 cause Livestock were nerfed into the ground and can only provide food now.

I love this mod as the traits seem to be very cool. But I can't use them. If I attempt to create an actual save, the game reliably crashes. I have found zero fixes. Please help!

And what I did, I mostly looked up listed opposite traits in vanilla to learn the tags as I went using a split screen until I had those tags memorized and then it got faster and I had the tag list also open for reference. Sometimes I noticed I was making mistakes and choosing the wrong tag and had to manually search those and fix it (production versus pop_output was one of those).

Are you on discord? so I can send screenshots? If so, find me there under the same username. You can use that tool, sure, but you actually have to learn what the tags do who gets what tags. Some are tricky. So for example a lithoid who produces rare crystals simply for existing uses the tag "production." But a worker producing resources uses the tag "pop_output." So I don't know how "mindless" the tagging is for the tool. Then there is the "interesting" tag that makes the hive mind fallen empire interested in your trait. That one requires some creative decisions. I did it manually so that I could figure it out based on what the trait does. You'd also want to add the portrait exceptions for the plantoid and lithoid who get all of the humanoid traits and for the two fungoids who get all of the mammalian traits.

@76561198021466435 I volunteered and did it for Species Diversity. It was a pain in the a** and took me two full days to do it. This mod has way more traits, I would say either be patient or volunteer to do it, because yeah, it's rough. I would volunteer *if* I didn't want to take my day off to actually play the game today and didn't have to go back to work tomorrow.

Personally i've been easily out pacing my friends in multiplayer that use Evo when i'm using Clones.

The early lead isn't to be underestimated, its compounding.

Anyway, cool, good to see more traits!

I love this idea, because with all the genetics, I feel like there should be super/ultra versions and I feel like there should be more mutually exclusive branches.

I am just a little gunshy because I can't imagine the testing required to ensure this all works, especially with evolutionary predators, which imho is now so OP that it makes clone solders look like butthole soldiers.
