It's very atmospheric during a fight to interrogate your friend in the chat about how much health he has (No), especially in realism if you go far away, then you'll never understand whether your bro is dead or not. I'm not a vanilla nerd, I love this atmosphere, but this interface only seems atmospheric at first glance. You're too brazen, taking advantage of the fact that you have the only mod with this style!

its a deliberate design choice since its for nightmare. You wanna know how much health your teammates have? Ask them. If they're bots, you must simply accept the lack of information.

Great mod, definitely love it.

But I don't know why it seems like I can't use my own pistol HUD icon after I subscribed to this. And even after I unsubscribe all mods I got, it just can't turn back to vanilla. My pistol icon just turns into another type

nightmare was built around a team of human players, so we deliberately didnt take bots into consideration when I was making this. i think theres some alts on the workshop that add them back in

it was recently updated so that you can see player status with tab, although the only thing itll really tell you is who's playing what character, their ping, and whether or not they're dead.

the purpose is that you actively communicate between each other what you have on you and how healthy you are

We like this hud style, but still, some of the community may not be interested in horror themes and would like to see the interface in full for convenience in multiplayer, however this version is great for single-player playthroughs.

simple bots break nightmare (which this hud is designed for), so i wouldnt recommend having that installed during play regardless
