It's been a long time since I've last seen the meta in Overwatch, but aren't gamemodes like these fundamentally snowball-heavy since the losing player needs to push the bot (or in this case, the cart) all the way back to neutral before even BEGINNING to start gaining objective? The video description mentions a team only starts gaining objective once they've pushed the cart 50% into enemy territory, which sounds like a better idea...

if servers ran this they would quickly find a rather large issue, maybe not this one because sniper sight lines, but the other capture the cart maps they definitely will, i won't say what it is, just get these maps hosted on a server, then you'll find out'

@Serge Ivanov Yes forcing past with mp_waitingforplayers_cancel 1 leads to that issue. It's something we felt that we didn't need to address during development since it's not something that occurs during a regular play session. But we could look to address it. Among other things developing the maps makes usage of that command a lot lmao

Seems like an interesting idea b ut it didn't work on my for some reason, probably just something on my end with me forcing past the waiting for players on a private server. I do love the layout and design of this one though.

actually a very interesting idea, and the maps visually look very good for the game (ive not played the mode though i cant say if they play well)

shame it will be forgotten in alt gamemodes by halloween

This sounds like a better take on the "tug of war" mode first officially added with Dynamite. Dynamite was fun, but not for its TOW gameplay. This sounds like a nice spin on it with both traditional KOTH gameplay and payload progression, hopefully it plays nicely in practice.
