Hmm, can the mount shops get these as "contract" options?
I.E. the thing where you didn't have special mounts but can buy from one of the shops added in the Giant Kings DLC.
Or are these always stuck as starting options only?

extra units getting mounted, is a base game funktionality, it is not done by this mod.
Honestly though, it is definetely possible.

So. Weird question, I know, but is there a way to make it so I can choose one of these mount traits, but WITHOUT making basically all my units mounted? Or to be able to just choose somewhere that I want my normally mounted troops to use one of these mounts? I love the idea of using cool mounts, but I hate having all my units suddenly mounted. (Don't ask why, even I don't know why it bugs me so much.)

They reorganized how form traits are catagorized and none of your custom mounts/traits are showing up, they probably need to be put in one of the new catagories.

it's not an issue, i just forgot it one time.
Making it a dependency just takes like 2 seconds, with no extra files needed.
I just need to remember to remove it before updating :sadstar2022:

Hello Werzui,
You mention having issues seeing all the default strings in the editor. To get around that, you can make a copy of EN.mo in Age of Wonders 4\Language\EN and rename it to ~DEV.mo. The strings in that file will show in the editor without having to set it as a dependency.

I capped myself at 50 mods max, due to me not knowing how much this game can actually handle without problems.
At least i know, that AoW3 had problems with modlists over 30-40 :shockedstar2022:

I do use 117 mods and had no issues with this one. I would say it is quite compatible.

even if you have a mod active, that does the same, one would just simply overwrite the changes of the other, depending on you loadorder.
The custom mounts are completely unaffected from other mods since i made them myself, pretty much from scratch or from what info i can gather from the game itself :)

there shouldn't be alot of mods, which modify the files mentioned in the description, if any at all.
The only modification in the above files, is just disabling the mount traits, nothing more.
As long as you don't have a mod active, that does the same, you should be fine :er_wave:

the requisites for the melee abilities was missing. I added them on the claw attack of the bald eagle and the frigit swipe of the glacial bear too.

you should tag puncturing charge as a melee attack. none of my unit enchantments improved it during my game,im just guessing thats the problem

Update with new stag mount and reworked mount masters :bonfire2:
the stag mount use Visie Maigo's stag armor from his mod, thanks to his permission to use it :GhostLoveEyes:

i think more speed is not needed tho, mounted units already get very fast movement ;)

Reducing cost could be nice, money is always good :joker:. Giving mounted units ability to move after attacking (I forget the exact term for it) could be interesting but maybe too powerfull. Movement speed buff, both on map and in battle maybe? :warhorse:

Just throwing out ideas, feel free to take or leave them!
