it just so happened, that i was in front of my pc that moment ngl xD
extra units getting mounted, is a base game funktionality, it is not done by this mod.
Honestly though, it is definetely possible.
This will get another update, with possibly more custom mounts in the future

Don't worry, I'm not good at English either. I mean can you make a version that only heroes can use? Like equipment? I like these mount traits, but they're too much stronger than the others

it's not an issue, i just forgot it one time.
Making it a dependency just takes like 2 seconds, with no extra files needed.
I just need to remember to remove it before updating
You mention having issues seeing all the default strings in the editor. To get around that, you can make a copy of EN.mo in Age of Wonders 4\Language\EN and rename it to ~DEV.mo. The strings in that file will show in the editor without having to set it as a dependency.

I capped myself at 50 mods max, due to me not knowing how much this game can actually handle without problems.
At least i know, that AoW3 had problems with modlists over 30-40
The custom mounts are completely unaffected from other mods since i made them myself, pretty much from scratch or from what info i can gather from the game itself :)
there shouldn't be alot of mods, which modify the files mentioned in the description, if any at all.
The only modification in the above files, is just disabling the mount traits, nothing more.
As long as you don't have a mod active, that does the same, you should be fine
the requisites for the melee abilities was missing. I added them on the claw attack of the bald eagle and the frigit swipe of the glacial bear too.
the stag mount use Visie Maigo's stag armor from his mod, thanks to his permission to use it

idk, right now my attention is on my society trait mod and after that, a unique stag mount is on my list.

that may cause that issue too, if you dont have it.

could you add more details like, what form you use, the culture, maybe the mods you use alongside mine.

not a bad idea, it would make the mount masters at least way less useless
i think more speed is not needed tho, mounted units already get very fast movement ;)
