</Patch>I don't know why this line of code causes two identical patches to appear in the display, but I just commented it out and that fixed the issue.

Apparently I'm getting an error where the game isn't finding textures for the Vigil bodies. I have all the requisite mods for them to work, but it seems like I may have broken them somehow.

@misstall Oh no no, dont get me wrong - there is nothing to be sorry about - i truly love your mod/its aesthetics and how it fits the RW. Its a 9/10 recommendation for a Race mod to pick up. My only suggestion was making Vigil buddies as a "separate" xenotype. Same as Kurins, Mihos, Ratkins etc etc. That makes them excluded from "baseliner"group when it comes to Texture packs that affect "baseliners" if you follow my thought :) Restricting pawns from equipping not compatible armours (or using Transmog to hide it) falls onto the user.
And well - the separate xenotype would also mean that Vigil pawns wont spawn within "baseliner" factions - tho honestly i am not sure if its a pro or con.

They aren't currently set up as an independent faction, and judging by the mod description, there doesn't seem a plan to make them their own faction. That's just my assumption based off the following:

"Vigils have only been shipped to the RimWorlds in small numbers and have not established their own faction.
They may join colonies through events such as pod crashes or wanderer joins.
Aside from that, they are commonly found for sale in caravans."

This may be a dumb question, or an already answered one...
How i do i add this faction to a running game?
I want them to come as traders and/or guests, like any other faction.

@SupremeQuesoDesuPizza I haven't tried specifically with Sanguophages but I know they can accept custom xenotypes like any other baseliner pawn. Doesn't look like it has broke anything so far on my end.

Are vigils also able to become sanguophages in addition to their race or does that cause issues?

If it makes any difference the weapons are just added to the various existing research trees already in the core game. So you could grab them and then just ignore them if you'd rather equip them with something else.

Thanks, I am fine with Armor/Clothes since it is made for them, but wanted weapons to be other mods that I am focusing on.

Any chance of some Vigil themed mechanoids to go alongside them?

@Sakura The armory just adds some more weapons that you can craft. The only thing you need for the Vigil to show up is the race mod itself.

😭Looks like we'll just have to wait for the compatibility patch. In other words, can there be some powerful armor, similar to the original version of the Scout Armor, Navy Power Armor and Knight Power Armor, while there are some more powerful armor. In this way, I can not use other modules or the original content of the powerful armor, so as to manually avoid the problem that the clothing does not match the armor model, too large and so on. Thanks very much❤️❤️❤️

Aside from the Workshop thumbnails, there’s hardly any activity with the illustrations.
Although they are older works, many illustrations are used in the Stellaris portrait mod that I have released.

Sorry, but just like many other race mods, this mod only supports the clothing included in this mod and its required mods.
This is because the graphics need to be manually adjusted to fit the body shape of the race. Sorry about that.

This is such a good race mod - my only recommendation would make Vigils into separate Xenotype - as just being "Baseliner" can conflict with base game attire/clothing retextures and make little fellas look... awful.
As someone bellow sugested - some kind of synth/advanced android xenotype would fit their design perfectly ^^

When using the equipment and clothing in the module, everything is normal, but when using other modules or items in the original content of the game, the characters will be too small and the equipment will be too large. Plate armor, in particular, makes the character look like a giant puppet suit.😂

bro,Your module is very good, and I especially like these little guys from the training warehouse. But I don't know if it's my module list environment or something else. The little people in this module will look big no matter what they wear. Especially when wearing the original plate armor or naval armor, it looks very fat. Or the equipment is too big, especially the machine gun backpack in the backpack, I thought my little man was going to climb the mountain.😂

この種族MODは既存の衣類MODにヴィジル向けのテクスチャを追加し、該当する衣類を着用したときにそちらのグラフィックを使用するようにパッチを当てているのですが、TransmogではこのHARの機能が動作しないようです

Please copy and paste the "English" folder inside the Languages directory, and rename it to the language you're using.
This mod was created in Japanese, and it includes an English translation file.

自環境のみの問題かもしれませんが、Transmog(fork)を利用してヴィジルの格好をヴィジル衣装に固定しようとすると、体系がおかしくなります(全部男性体形または筋肉質の状態で表示されてしまう)。
他MODも絡んでくるので、できればでいいので対応してもらえると嬉しいです!

discovered that the mod causing the problem, is... Loading Progress mod? it should just add a loading bar to the loading screen, maybe the textures failing to load are related to the mod's patching of initialization code, but disabling the entire mod seems to fix it

i'm having a problem where the mod fails to find body and apparel textures for some reason, it started happening after i installed some other mods, but even after removing those mods it still fails to find the textures, the log only mentions "Failed to find any textures at VigilRace/Body/..." or "...at MAU_V/SOG/SOG2...", and when i go to said filepath under the "workshop/content", all the textures seem to be there.

AAAAA, WHY ARE SOME OF THE COOLER MODS REQUIRING HAR, I HATE HAR, WHYYY CANT THIS JUST BE A XENOTYPE. (i just dislike humanoid alien races. it feels to clunky and is just a reskin of normal humans, while requiring special clothing for them. and i just prefer the biotech system.)

こちらでは同様の問題を再現できませんでしたが、Odysseyで新規に追加された軌道トレーダーのタグを警備商に追加しました。 引き続き問題の原因を探ってみます。

The issue Ronin ran into with Ayameduki's Races is caused by Aya tweaks 2.0, I ran into the same issue and did some snooping around. Not smart enough with modding to figure out what the issue is exactly.

いつも素敵なMODをありがとうございます。
おそらくバグと思われる症状に遭遇したので報告します。
ヴィジル系MOD(前提MOD+ヴィジル本体+フェイスアニメ)を入れてゲームを始めると、軌道上の商人と取引をする際に相手方の資金と商品が全く出ず取引ができませんでした。
(その後、前提MODも含めヴィジルMODを抜いたら正常な動作に戻りました)
警備商も機能していなかったので、それ関連が何かを引き起こしてるのかもしれません。(素人の憶測です)
トレード系MODはCall A Traderのみを入れていた環境で起こりました。
ともあれ、素敵なMODなので(渋い銃のセレクトとか)ぜひ購読し続けたいと思っていますので、開発頑張ってください!

ik i'm really dumb but maybe someone has the same problem as me and don't know what to do so i'm helping yall not waste much time restarting the game 90 times trying to fix it

if you're trying to play the new odyssey scenario (or whatever other scenario you might be using) but you can't choose vigil's as your starting colonist, it's not some compatibility bug, it's cuz of the faction for some reason, but you can change it on the 'scenario editor' to any other starting faction and you should be okay

also, i loved the mod and it grew to be my favorite modded race, i really hope to see new mods from you in the future
