Okay, please check the NexusMods page. I have released a new version.
..."Deceptive Stance" perk (which gives a buff with light armor as well, though using different criteria) works this way. I believe "Light Armor" would be best for it's iconography to work in a similar way (showing up on the Player Menu's Buff's tab but not on the HUD).
The functionality of the perk itself is great and just the kind of thing I was looking for. In combination, "Deceptive Stance" & "Light Armor" makes various light armor outfits more viable. I use it for a "Ranger/Huntsman" outfit I enjoy wearing as I explore the forests as well as, of course, my Stealth outfit. Thanks again and please let me know if there's anything you can do about removing the icon from the HUD. :)
Thanks for the reply!
I finally got a free Agility perk point and immediately selected the light armor perk. It's great, thank you! Except there is one thing:
I wonder if you might please consider not showing the icon on the HUD? I play hardcore mode and normally my HUD is pretty clean. The icons on the HUD are usually temporary Buffs and Debuffs. As "Light Armor" is sort of a permanent condition, depending on outfit, I wonder if it could be removed from the HUD? Of course it would still be available on the Player/Buffs screen.
Notably the similar...
a question: what happens if i have light armor perk but then i remove the mod?
Speaking for myself i'd want to have all of them installed..just for the option to be available even if not used...and it would help a lot with keeping the mod count to a reasonable number.
I recall in KCD we had to mod in certain helmets and armor, and there was always contention with regards to what should and should not be considered "light armor".
