why does stormy coast connect to sunlit port and shrouded stacks those are both stormy coast in different points in the timeline [at least in the original stormy coast] that makes no sense 💔💔

With the 1.5 update, I'm pretty sure a lot of this lore is no longer accurate. For example, Cold Storage being connected to other regions because a lore pearl in there implies it to be in the distant future, closer to Outer Rim

WAIT A MINUTE, I HAS JUST HAD A REALIZATION!!! Wouldn't it fit in if this mod made Hydroponics available for every slugcat... No, this mod is about making every Watcher region connect from one to the other, not making these regions exist to the other Slugcats, there is a mod that is meant to do that but I feel like this mod is just more official than where the other mod places the gates since the other mod also connects Watcher regions to each other as well... Can you make a mod that makes Hydroponics available to all slugcats? Can someone?

btw, Idk if this is important for you, more like a curious fact, but it's speculated that some of the regions, or at least a portion of them are the same, only shifted in time, since many parts of Salination and Fetid glen share the same room overlays, it's the same thing with Aether Rigde and the Surface.

Good concept bad execution.

Some regions could flawlessly be connected by karma gates like torrid desert and badlands. Or turbulent pump, coral caves and salination.

Or for example the surface and aether ridge.

I feel like the best way to connect them is to connect some regions but not others.

Having region gates connect two areas that totally don't match ruins it for me.

i honestly think they should readd gate connections and only make it so echeos teleport you to important places, like outer rim or shattered terrace, but other regions could be reached normally

Glad this mod exists and I'm sure it's great fun but personally I think it kinda takes away what makes the Watcher interesting to me. I would prefer this mod more if it just put the modded regions back together, that way they're not just split into like a million different regions. Probably a better idea for a separate mod tho.

I think it would feel like a better transition if stormy coast connected to torrential railways before shrouded coast (i know they used to connect) It would make more sense for the stormy regions to share connections as it would make a better transition.

@yoshi I didnt substitute every portal for a gate I never even removed portals they are still there for you to use. the shattered terrace connection is connecting to the exact room where it would have if aether wasnt split up. I never said portals are bad I am one that likes the portal system this was made for those that dont like it though.

Would def insert portals in place of karma gates in regions where they make sense (fetid, salination, surface, etc.) . Otherwise really cool!

well this kinda breaks the sense of the DLC, its like dimension hoping or like time traveling as i got it, so yeah making karma gates instead of portals kinda breaks it

(Addendum: Sunlit Port and Shrouded Coast are both technically past versions of Stormy Coast, as in the original mod, these two were variants of Stormy Coast for Spearmaster and Artificer. As much as Downpour canon is completely severed and disconnected from Watcher canon, it isn't a stretch to maintain the time difference between the three regions. There's just too much risk of contradiction with the story that is right in your face to completely substitute EVERY single portal for Karma gates. At least it works with connecting the rotten Vanilla regions , but absolutism here is not the play.)

This completely destroys the environmental world-building of The Watcher, as some regions are future/past versions of other regions. Shattered Terrace especially suffers from this. Not only that, but some regions take place in completely different spaces all-together, possibly hundreds of cycles worth of distance between, say, Signal Spires and Aether Ridge . For another example, Fetid Glen is a future version of Salination , why are they directly connected?! For all intents and purposes this absolutely eviscerates and scatters the world we already know very little about. SOME connections between some regions would be a significant improvement over "hurr-durr bring Karma gate back everywhere, portal bad"

Thank you for this mod this is amazing, but one idea I had was instead of portals connecting each separate region instead of karma games, what if there was a mix between karma gates and portals. This would mean there would be clusters of regions connected with karma gates that where similar, but also regions that where separate with portals
