Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Missing texture should be fixed.

Shoot, will make a point to fix that shortly. Probably forgot to include the texture in the final addon.

i see some missing textures on the leather of the flint.

The animation on this is much better than the animations on the other ones you've uploaded. The ramrod goes far enough in the muzzle it's believable. The other ones are good but there is the minor flaw of them not really jamming the ramrod down far enough. But this one has a perfect animation. There's another workshop item that makes this same model into a SWEP and its animation is far more flawed than anything on your workshop. So I'm glad to see this model used to make an actually well animated weapon!

My intention is to have the muskets fill that role, more of an all-purpose mid- to long-range weapon than this one. The musket models in the L’Aigle pack definitely have shorter barrels, sort of like a carbine would.

Is there going to be a Flintlock Carbine?

I like the idea of the saber as a sidearm for the slower weapons for sure.

Maybe you can a Officer Saber and a Rifled musket's bayonet, a normal musket's bayonet and a sapper's axe as melee items.

That's actually what I was going for with this one! The muskets will handle a bit faster than the rifle, and have the bayonet, in exchange for less damage and a smaller effective range. Sort of like the muskets will act as "assault rifles," while this rifle functions as the "sniper." I could always nerf the reload speed for this in exchange for more damage, but I'm pretty happy with it as-is.

Ok, but also later on will you consider adding rifled muskets which has a ton of damage and are very accurate but have a very long reload and moves a a bit slower with it, kind of like the Nock gun but less extreme.

BeefyCheez, that is my plan for the muskets - trade some accuracy and damage for faster reloading plus the melee attack.

You should add a bayonet but it increases reload speed or ADS a little bit.
