Just a suggestion: Adding Tier 3 Elemental Units that have both effects.
UPDATE(8/5/25)
Spellbender
>Outfits now working
Verdant Spheres
>Reduced damage from 8/4 to 6/3
Note: I cannot get it to not work on damage buffs
I side with Vectra's decision here. This is a heavily Warcraft Blood Elf-themed tome and astral/chaos is exactly what they are like. I do however agree that such tomes would be welcome!
Toadkin works, but the rest of the beastkin do not.
The only affinities with a skirmisher is nature and order (or chaos if u want to count evolution). That doesn't mean a materium, astral, or shadow can't have one. That's just limiting creative design for the sole purpose of keeping everything completely streamlined which would be quite boring.
Corrupted flames (which is the theme of this tome) does not sound nature/chaos. The minor transformation is actually very astral as "when a spell is cast" is very common in Astral effects (Mana Addicts, Astral Attunement, Astral Blood, and Mystic Culture)
Also:
Blight is shared with shadow as well as decay which is basically poison+.
Fire is shared by both Order and Chaos.
Astral has an animal summon at Teleportation but is not nature.
Astral isn't the only one with battlemage enchantments nor every astral tome with an enchantment needs to include a battlemage/support enchantment.
There is already precedent that damage types aren't tied to a specific affinity.
Feymist only has a Skirmisher with a Support enchantment (not even battlemage)
Tome of Tentacles doesn't share anything with typical shadow tomes, except by theme.
Tome of Corruption shares even less with Shadow, if any, except by theme.
