Main Dawn of the Dead mod updated and this no longer functions for the people ive spoken with, update scheduled?

Why do empty vehicles get removed without this mod? Like what Kaldari said, it'd be nice to have a version or update which preserves vehicles only, like in the original game. Other than that the mod is great fun!
