did you put the file, you downloaded trough subscribing in your mod folder first?
-> you need to put the folder with that long number as a name (that is the folder of the mod) inside of your Mods folder. C:\Users\user name\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Age of Wonders 4\Mods that or similar to this is the path it needs to be located first to make edits before you put it back after you made your changes.
where did you get stuck?
did yoou try to make your own or edit my file?
Would you be so kin as to create a mod which grants 3 extra society points? I.e where the value is -3?
do you mean the society trait i added?
if so then you need to change the cost of that society trait to -2, if you want 2 extra points from that society trait.
currently its an empty society trait, which costs -1 trait points, thats how it increases the points.
the negative value gives points instead of taking them ;)
ungefähr so ist der pfad, statt D: evtl. C: abhängig wo du das game installiert hast.
möchtes du nur diese mod öffnen oder hast du eine eigene gemacht, bei der du den wert verändern willst?
this one did not replace the 20 version, it was there before.
I had to delete the 20 version due to issues with the new dlc and me not having the main file anymore so i couldn't update.
no, there are only 5 slots, regardless the amount of points you have.
This is hard coded, nothing a modder can do about it.
this could be the case for the society trait aswell
I also found out what my issue was, I was trying to edit the file by using someone else's mod I just ended up creating my own and it worked, looks like you have to edit the file while in a mod so the change sticks but the only way I found that considers the editor to be in a mod is if you make your own as workshop mods don't work for some reason.
you have to change the load order of the mods, that change the same value
The added society point is a nice bonus.
you mean the 12 point mod? Yes it was taken down cuz i was missing my original files and couldn't update it, which was necessary, so i made a new version :)
Im not sure but i also noticed that the file, you have to edit for that had something new to it so that kinda reinforces my theory maybe.
Couldnt test the pantheon recruit bug that was happening on your older mod. But have you managed to fix it?
