Had just 100%ed the main game for the first time, and I was feeling sad that I'd have to say goodbye to the Bunker so soon. Thankfully this custom story was the perfect solution. Really awesome stuff mate, if I'd never played the main game I'd hardly be able to tell the difference. Top notch level design, writing, and it perfectly recaptures that addictive surging progress you feel when going through the main game, mastering the map before you're ready for the final confrontation. Please keep making stuff like this, I basically consider it a must-play DLC for the game at this point. I might just play it again on Wretched (I did fancy a break from max difficulty after my Shell Shock run, but I got a solid 2.5 hours out of this on Hard).

Really cool map. I liked the focus on atmosphere and gameplay rather than excessive lore and story. Felt like an expansion to the base game and was pretty balanced on the wretched difficulty 5/5

Nah, I wouldn't really consider myself an active enough modder/dev to warrant receiving donations; this has always been more just a side project I do sometimes for my own enjoyment. Really appreciate the sentiment, though.

Yeah, the code for Dosier is on a note, but its a little obscure. If you figured out Alphonse's code, the note for that includes a loose hint on where to find it.

Great map, for some reason after I picked up the last note in those tunnels, I suddenly heard a scream and thought that the ghoul statue would be missing and you added Ghoul as an enemy, luckily not :DD
I also couldnt figure out Dosiers password, was it on some note?

Appreciate the kind words. There's not really a way for me to meaningfully help here with regards to modding; I essentially just learned it using trial and error from what I knew of Dark Descent modding, and am frankly still not very good or orderly at it. Best I can recommend is that you join the Frictional Discord, where you can find lots of different help of resources, and look up tutorials for Amnesia Rebirth instead. Rebirth and Bunker have almost identical engine functionality, so modding the two are very similar.

This was amazing! After finishing The Bunker I really wanted more of the same vibe and scaryness and this one felt really claustrophobic. I enjoyed it so much that I started trying to mod myself but I'm running into a lot of problems specially when making notes and hints since there aren't many tutorials or help out there to mod this game.

Great Custom Story. The best one I’ve played so far. This map completely maintains the core experience of this game, featuring almost the same areas, confined plot, progression, mechanics, and so on. In theory, this scenario should feel repetitive for that very reason, however, this custom has a very interesting layout that is sometimes even more dynamic and fun than the original. In this case, however, the encounters with the monster are more frequent, intense, and lasting from the very beginning. I was finally able to feel real tension and the overwhelming sensation of being haunted by a creature even more than in the base game on some occasions.

The ending is quite good and it left me with a pleasant surprise, as it was very different from what I expected. The only detail that I didn’t like was the representation of the map. It definitely could have been better with a clearer and more immersive design, but beyond that, I really enjoyed this map. Awesome work!

Patch 1.2 for Burial Ground is now live! You can check the full notes for the patch in the Change Notes tab, but TL;DR, it doesn't have much in the way of new playable content, but instead a whole bunch of fixes and adjustments with the aim of making the mod overall more intuitive, immersive, and addressing some complaints here and there.

I also plan to upload an updated dev walkthrough in the near future to account for all the changes that have been done in the time since I first recorded that.

Don't forget that the very first note you find in the generator room directly states the place where you will find that key. It's not tucked away in some hidden spot--if you've been following the main progression path, it should be fairly easy to find. If that doesn't help, check the video walkthrough on top of the mod page for its exact location. Though it's worth asking: Have you been to the Tunnels yet?

Relatable tbh. As a Gmod content creator myself. I cant promise any changes or updates with some of my mods. Either due to being impossible at a later point, lazy, or got other plans.

Exactly what I get from the main game captured there just perfectly! Progression, balance between story and randomization, resource management - everything in place just as intended by the devs. Honestly could have think it's an official DLC if I didn't know it's from workshop.

Really good fanmade project!
Writing isn't amateurish and cringe, areas are engaging and cool. Only complaint is the order makes the cutters mostly just a progress-gate (as opposed to a tool-gain like in metroidvanias- or the base game). You get them too late, and I used them only once to end the game. :steamthumbsup:
Oh, and the generator is down a ladder I can't fall through. Looks cool, functions not so.

Appreciate the kind words, but probably worth saying the additional music is from the other Amnesia games (certain music stings are from TDD, and the save room/menu theme is from Rebirth), rather than being my own work. Wouldn't want credit for something I didn't actually do lol

An excellent custom story, very enjoyable and really captured the feel of the original game. Props to the extra effort put into making a nice little story and the OST. A shame seemingly so few people actually played through this, it really is a ltlle gem. Thank you for this experience!

Thanks for playing, and nah, there's only one ending, though there are multiple ways to deal with the Stalker there. There's also nothing further down the Pit (though if you look closely you might see some interesting details down in it). I considered adding some kind of special death scene for jumping down into it, but since it's right at the end of the level and thus dying would've required replaying the whole thing, I cut that idea because it would've been unnecessarily cruel lol

Quite a well polished mod and I enjoyed it even after recently doing a shellshocked run of the base game. I do have to ask though Is there any alt ending shenanigans in that ending area? Also, besides the key by the pit there is nothing further down there right? I totally didn't try to jump into said pit and was denied my purpose, so I'd like to know.

Thanks. After going over it again I found it. It was very well camouflaged on the metal; metal key and all. I understand this is a feature that's only in the "Blackout" version, but maybe you might consider having the Comms door locked in the lights on version too because it was a fun, extra challenge to do. Especially not having the pill box as an easy safety refuge.

I've not had any issues with getting it to show up in testing, so it's possible you're just overlooking it - the location is slightly randomized. Make sure to check each shelf in utility thoroughly, including the big metal one behind the rat corpse.

Great mod. Map design, puzzles, variation at a decent level. Really leaves it feeling like it's a little DLC rather than just an enthusiast mod, which shows a high level of quality.

Without wishing to spoil since it's meant to be fairly obscure, there's two notes hidden in Quarters that give you direct hints on what the codes are; its the only code that isn't randomized. You can start looking for them in the Records Room

Ohhhh man what a mod! :D I don't know where to begin. This was great and really well done. Design was really good, details where well added and man the tunnel area was pure terror and eriee.

I completed it in 2 hours, wish it was longer. Got almost every code, but one question: where do you get the code for the shotgun?

My rating: 9/10
