That's more than fair enough.
No, it's good with 1.18.0.2
This idea is entirely inspired by the Ser Barristan scene from GoT where he leaves the King's Guard. Essentially, once you hit your 60+ stage, there is a chance that your Oathholder (or more likely their heir) will try to put you out to pasture. If they have money, have a positive relationship with you, and if they don't have any cruel traits, they might even offer you a Keep to live out the rest of your days in(Barony). If you do the permanent oath option, then maybe you can trigger this on your own to swap out with your younger heir and then go retire in peace.
Anyways, really cool mod!
tbh, better to hit both your override and the vanilla with a DIFF, or just reinsert your changes into the vanilla code, since there's a lot of differences now that I check with DIFF
That being said, if a native speaker or another language wants to translate the mod themselves and host the translation file on the workshop, I can teach them how to do it.
Oathbound is now fully compatible with everything and no longer requires any kind of compatch, ever. No original files or functions are edited now and all scripts are custom.
To achieve this, the logic has been tweaked slightly. After swearing an Oath, it no longer creates an 'official' alliance between the two parties. Instead, when an Oathholder goes to war, their Oathbound will be dragged into the war with them, instead of being called in as you usually would using the character interaction.
For the player, your Oathbound won't be dragged into war, instead, you have a new character interaction, specifically for your Oathbound which will allow you to call them into war.
This was a fairly intensive re-write, so please do let me know if you notice any bugs, I'll be playing a fair bit today so if I come across any, I'll update as I go.
