Hmm... I'm not having that issue myself. See if using the Item Configurer mod helps.

Not sure if this is an incompatibility with an other mod but with this mod enabled whenever i open the window in, for example, a falcor to enter a items name the window closes when the "E" button is pressed so when i want to enter for example "head" there to set a drill head as target item

Other mods are For Removal, bigger inventory, no glow stick smoke, Post-p25 freight fixes, Stackable power booster, no more organic rock, buffed mk4 turrets, super paste grinder, gps tool, Distribution splitter, filter, hotbar extender, trickys storage hopper, mk2 auto excavater.

at first i thought it was caused by the inventory mod but still happened without it

And something I forgot to say, is that PC is a platform not OS, which is your Operating System, ie windows vista/7/10/11, Mac, Linux/Unix. I asked because Linux/Unix sometimes causes issues for some mods and parts of the game.

I play with that mod as well, so I don't know why this mod is having issues with BFI.
Feel free to upload the related log error from the output_log.txt here or in the modsupport channel in the ProjectorGames discord.

When I disable these, yours works perfectly.

I play on PC. It seems like I've been out of the tutorial for a long time. I thought the “hints” in the top right corner were the tutorial. I've been playing in the world for about 30 hours now.
I've never installed the “original” mod.

I only installed Tricky's Storage Hoppers mod and yours here.

It really sucks that it doesn't work for me. Your mod would be EXTREMELY useful! ;-)

I don't know why that would be the case. The mod works perfectly for me. Is your OS perhaps Mac or Linux? Do you have the original version of the mod deactivated for that world?

The Tutorial is the part where the game shows you how to automate resource extraction and powering the CPH. The bubble around the CPH going down means you're no longer doing such.

Why does the mod only work for me on:

Laboratory and Laser Energy Transmitters?

Not on Ore Extractors, Storage Hoppers and Tricky's Storage Hoppers.

I haven't unlocked the other items yet to test them.


I always have instructions on the right side telling me what to do. Am I still in the tutorial?
Do I have to start a new world if I'm still in the tutorial?
