Is there supposed to be a way to obtain the Mk2 normally? I can't find it in the research.

sounds fun if you could reprogram or focus it turning it into a new item that will Always do one outcome that you choose. so for example reprogram it so it will always turn them into tables. (the Tableifer if you will) of course some may be too overpowered so a config setting choosing which outcomes can be set to or taking more time to do so or needing something related to the outcome.

It is tagged as a SpacerGun (and MadScience), but the commonality is extremely low, so you'll rarely ever see it.

This is a cool mod, like a lot of alien stories where the alien has a ray that transforms a human into something random, sometimes that random thing being a writhing mass of goo.

It kinda can, while it is unlikely it will sometimes give pawns entire archite xenotypes, and it can decide to give them bionics and the like as well.

Hmm i love the true randomness weapon idea, its like the wabbajack from skyrim but more extreme, i got a suggestion if possible, make it a 000.1% chance to turn a pawn into an absolute archotech god with a limbs replaced, special traits and a unique overpowered archotech xenotype.

Fairly unlikely to be seen much.

The only relevant tag I gave them is the spacer gun one, so Spacer/Ultra factions like the Ancients and Empire can turn up with them, but...

I also set the chance to permit picking it to 10%, so even if it is a valid option it will get discarded 90% of the time.

2.
Depends on how well the mod does. If it gets requested enough and people like the mod I could certainly look into more weapons with this type of effect.

At the moment it is hard to say if the mod will become popular or not. I'd rather at least wait for some user feedback first. :)

3.
That would be doable.

Heck, everything is set up to be easily controlled via XML, so anyone with a little XML experience could make their own Randy Grenade mod, or whatever they please very easily.

A little too underpowered for me :steamsad: needs at least 2x the fire rate and fire power to be considered viable.
