I appreciate the help, but we always opened it through the Downloaded folder, including this time.

Updates do not reset any progress, but opening the map through "workshop" folder does. Every time you do that you basically redownload the map, so for progress to save join the map through "downloaded" folder from now on.

The update appears to have reset progress back to zero for my friend and I. Is this expected for workshop map updates?

Its a great map, but that guy who 800-900m deserves a holiday in siberia because those pixel perfect 1 block ice scroll jumps are hella anyoing, especially combined with jump bugs i am having when you land and immidietly jump it´l execute like 1sec after. Otherwise really cool map 9/10.
