Oh, dang, someone already posted a fix? That's awesome; I've been so focused on Silksong that I kept forgetting to finish the update, which I was having some trouble figuring out the solution to. Thanks to everyone who used this mod while it was relevant; it was really stressful, but I really appreciate everyone's support for my first published non-DMS mod. :)

I already got that a moment after I posted my comment and it works well so far, it was just hard to find at the time when I posted my comment because that mod was somewhat recent

what this mod did is now in the game, the mod you want to use is "the watcher for all" or smth.

this definitely needs a update because other player can't select watcher in the campaign

We might still need this getting updated, since Watcher is unselectable for the other players and thus are left out of the experience of playing as the Watcher.

would it be possible to make it so that if both players are playing as the watcher , the second player can still turn invisible ? as of right now , only player 1 can use their ability . unless this is impossible or really difficult ? it's just a thing i noticed

But I did mention that it does not fix any glitches/weird interactions in the description, and I recommend reporting bugs in the bug reports thread so that I'm more likely to see them.

@GisBanana I haven't abandoned the mod, I've just stopped recieving notifications for comments for some reason, so I had assumed that traction on the mod had slowed significantly. I've also honestly been burned out on modding due to the constant questions and pressure caused by this mod, and, like I mentioned in the description, I would like to wait for my friend to beat Watcher's rot ending before updating it with some potential fixes. I appreciate the patience of everyone who is waiting, and I don't believe that my short modding break is stopping anyone from making one with more bugfixes. :)

the dev strait up SAYS in the description that the mod was supposed to get bug fixes in the future (before abandoning it). @saint

@GisBanana this mod was never meant to make it fully compatible, this mod was just to re-enable jolly co-op for the watcher since it had it originally on release

this mod is still horribly buggy, the second me and my friend entered the "watcher world" after the third OA OA, only one of us spawned in (the host which is me) and the game crashed a few minutes later. The dev has obviously abandoned this mod, i wish they would just say so so that another person could make one that works.

I'm having trouble getting it to work since the last update? I'm currently running just the mod, Jolly Co-Op, and Watcher, and the Jolly Co-op menu only shows for Survivor, Hunter, and Monk.

like i start playng and it just doesnt work and when i leave it shows me that i havent chosen to play as him even tho i did

Yea its not working for me, the problem is that the muliplayer menu doesn't show up, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game files to no avail.

I don't know why the mod isn't working for some people. It could be a mod conflict, device issues, or something else. Just letting me know that it doesn't work without any context for what the issue could be doesn't help me know what to improve or what to fix. /gen

Well I just tried to switch hard drive, but no different from before unfortunately

No, just regular Steam, with Downpour and The Watcher installed with the game, but no icons shows up.

This is not the first time I can't make mods work with this game for some reasons. For example, I tried to play a region mod called "Lush Mire" if I'm right but when I got to the gate, it never stopped to load the map and never did.

I don't know if that can impact the game, but I don't play Rain World in my SSD but rather in an external hard drive so yeah I can try to switch the placement of my files but then, if it doesn't work, I don't know what could

And I do plan on Watcher's colors being changeable being the next addition to the mod; I just haven't had a lot of motivation to work on this due to pressure, and I've been focusing on my custom slugcat.

Are you using something other than regular Steam for PC to play it? I've mostly seen people having that issue when playing on a different device or an emulator-type-thing.
