By the way, I thought the new bushy helmets were a great idea for the units.
A must-have for all Armaholics, believe me, I know what I'm talking about.
I'll keep my fingers crossed...
Feel free to report any bug you find, but I consider this project as feature locked , so no more requests will be implemented.
Happy gaming!
So, basically, if you want to raid or sabotage an outpost where there's known enemy presence, use the DA kit. If you just want to scout and laze targets use the default recon units.
Note that the default recon guys are very squishy, not wearing ballistic vests, while the DA guys have the whole shebang SF Operator Tier 1 stuff. So, feel free to edit their loadout and give them any and all the OP stuff you can think of if you find their default loadout lacking.
One question though, is it intended that your regular EUDF infantry is equiped with silencers ?
This is a bit strange.
@Delta29: I might add BLUFOR and OPFOR versions. But I want to focus on finish the arid one first
I'll push and update whenever it's ready, which shouldn't be later than next week or so.
Are you planning to add camo's for other biomes somewhere down the line too? Something more arid for example?
The closest to arctic overalls or a simple hooded jacket is the russian Granit. The EUDF version isn't armored, though, so you can think of it as a generic low temperature garment that happens to ressemble the Granit :)
And, after all, copying military gear from even historical adversaries is pretty common, i.e. multicam or the several vehicles "heavily inspired" on US and NATO counterparts from countries like China or Iran.
I really like the mod, but having some custom uniforms, vests and helmets will only benefit it. Can probably use the APL-SA stuff from that if not wanting to have dependancies
