Thanks, this is very convenient. I use CleanUI for its "Stack to All" functionality, however you have to go Escape - Mod Options to choose whether you want stack to all or stack to all categories.

@mountainofcheezo No problem. I learned my lesson lol. I should have searched for what I wanted before making my own.

@Wildcard, yes! The modder just added hotkeys - it is perfect. thank you.

I'm glad you enjoy it @Aftermath_FIN
I added a link in the comments for a mod I found after making this one that seems to do similar transferring, but a bit smarter. Just an FYI if you want more features.

@mountainofcheezo I have not tried it, but this might be exactly what you are looking for.

@ThereforeAliens Awesome. Thank you.

@ppernsteingolem I use it with the Manage Containers mod and have not had any issues. I use that mod for transferring items to my static containers, like at base. I use this mod for dynamic containers, like backpacks, inventory, vehicles, etc. Let me know if you do run into any conflicts. I'm expecting something since there are so many mods, sort of odd that there hasn't been any mention of an issue yet.

Yeah, Unpack is pretty similar at a glance... with a focus on moving items out of inventory based on what is already present in containers. I don't really play Zomboid anymore, and don't support the mod at this point either. I'm just a workshop lurker these days. But yeah, have at it! Good luck; have fun!

@mountainofcheezo Like I was saying earlier, my biggest concern is the restrictions. Like if you wanted to add food items to a container via this mod, then by my understanding you would have to add a food item first. The main reason I went this route was to avoid any setup, even though what you're suggesting is pretty minimal. I'll give it a try. I could use the practice anyway. It might take me a few days, though.

@ThereforeAliens I appreciate it. That looks like a neat mod. I'll have to try it after work. Seeing how you do the duplicate handling will be ideal for showing me how to I can identify items better. I sort of just winged it as far as the code goes. I usually use Python, so the logic is there atleast. Does it transfer categories just the same as this one?

@Wildcard, take a look at Unpack. There's some code in there that should help you with keybinds. They are actually pretty simple. It's a bit of a spaghetti monster, but feel free to borrow whatever if it helps.

Gotcha. Well, thanks for the response. I am familiar with manage containers, but it still doesn't have the hotkey for transferring, which is what i want most
Very interesting mod. I have to test it together with the manage container mod, but im sure, this will bring PZ forward. Single or with other mods, it seems good.
@mountainofcheezo That would be interesting, but that might take away some of the freedom. Have you tried the Manage Containers mod? With it you have to setup the containers, so not as dynamic, but seems to operate like what you are saying. I'm not sure if my lua skills are up to the task for creating a hybrid of the two mods.
I'm thinking more like a hotkey for transferring anything from your inventory that matches the categories that are currently in the container you are looking at
I started a discussion for this mod. It is sort of a road-map page.

@mfluis2000 Thank you. I hope that it helps.

NICE MOD BRO:steamhappy:

@mountainofcheezo No hotkey at the moment. That might be something I can look into when I get time, but I'm not sure how useful it would be. Are you thinking something like you'd hover over an item and press the hotkey to transfer the category?
@Mitchel Vories I use a lot of the inventory mods as well. The assigning containers is nice, and I use it as well. This mod sort of adds that same efficiency for when a container isn't setup. I should have mentioned, this does not work when in Proximity Loot if using the proximity loot mod. The prox mod still can be used, but for the category transfer to show in the menu, you need to be in a "real" container.
Does this have a hotkey?
I use all of the inventory mods, the one that adds "Transfer Container" button to the top of the inventories, Auto-Loot. I haven't really set categories for containers yet. I am very hopeful. If this mod works like I understand from the description, this will be a godsend. After the early game is over, I swear I spend equal time organizing containers as I do exploring.
