Long John Silvers, Dunham’s Sports, Red Robin, Rural King (put it in an old Super Kmart if you want some more accuracy, that’s where most of them are in my area), Tractor Supply Co, as for regional chains Skyline or Gold Star Chili, Giovanni’s Pizza, Aaron’s or Rent-2-Own (they’re everywhere in Southern Ohio towns), Frisch’s Big Boy/Big Boy/Bob’s Big Boy (Frisch’s would be awesome, they also used to be everywhere in southern Ohio but are sadly fading away and not too many are left), I know you did Pal’s Sudden Service so I would like to see a regional chain from my area. Just some ideas there that I think would be cool for more realism in some cities

Interesting, I had no idea such a retailer existed. I always thought it was Dollar General. I have some ideas: Famous Footwear, Burlington Coat Factory, Footlocker, UNO Pizzeria and Grill, Red Robin.
