Same thing, Thumbnail issue, Im on CEF Codex + Chromium 64bit branch.

Does it support MKVs? Whenever I try to play a video, it gives me the error "The Google Drive video '____' that you tried to play is unavailable!" and another error that says "PlayX: Metadata failed via provider GoogleDrive: ERROR! file is not video or file is private."

When I want to put my video the player puts his "Impossible to play this video for the moment. The number of authorized plays has been exceeded. Please try again later" A solution?

@Hell Inspector, Since Google Drive has stripped us of all API functionality, it is unlikely we will be able to bring back google drive completely. I am currently exploring options to get the source from GD directly, will have to discuss with mio, however, such an update will have to wait until the developres of Garry's Mod stop being lazy and push the main update to the game to incorporate Chromium browser.

One very strange thing that can cause Gmod flash to break is VLC. If you have VLC installed, VLC comes with its own browser flash player plugin, which is incompatible with Gmod, but it still loads it in place of NPAPI. If you have VLC, uninstall it. Just a tid bit.

It's mainly not the flash player. Because on my laptop i tried to run playx without PPAPI and the red error message didnt even appear, just a black screen. I did the same thing with my main pc which actually works with the addon and the message appears, saying that i need PPAPI, it's pretty confusing right?

Try open http://isflashinstalled.com/ in PlayX to check your flash player is installed properly.

Hey it's me again. I made it work on my stationary pc but not on my laptop. i've tried everything in my power to make the exact same things as i did to my stationary. A friend of mine who also uses a laptop can't get it to work either, then i tried with another friend who has a stationary similar with my specs and it worked. So for some pcs it works while on others it doesn't. Yes we all installed the NPAPI version.

Do you know how I would do this?

Use https://www.youtube.com/v/(VIDEO_ID)?autoplay=1&showinfo=0&controls=0 with Flash provider can play youtube video, need install NPAPI flash player and can't change volume.

The author has discontinued the Play X addon...Is there any way you could fix it or at least tell us how? Thanks.

any1 can help me here? i only see a black screen once i tried to play the link from googledrive (i used the shareable link), it works just fine when i play youtube and other supported formats provided by the original mod (playx)

This is actually a cool addon for a cool mod.

I find it funny that this takes MOVIES off of Google Drive, yet Google has Google Play to buy the same movies you can stream from Google Drive. If Google Drive has the movies for free why bother using Google Play?

This sounds like this should be a feature of the mod (PlayX)

Paste your link to Administrate > URI and click Open Media

How does this work?

I bring the video up (from Google Drive), play it and it works, but only in the PlayX navigator and not the playX screen. How does PlayX detect the video?

Has anyone Manged to get this to work for KissAnime? I tried what UCS said but Frost anime is gone. I tried poping it out and pasting it but it didn't work.

Right click on the file > Share > Advanced and change link sharing to On.

Mind posting a little tidbit on here?
A note to all people attempting to use anime with PlayX- This addon is the key.
Step one- Go to frostanime
Step two- Go to an anime
Step Three- Click Pop Out
Step Four - Copy the Google Drive URL from the URL bar.
Step Five - Play it with PlayX
Step Six- Profit.

It took me about a month to figure this out, so I figure it'd be nice for people to know this.
I was going to start a discussion on the main Playx thing, but uh, it's blocked. Which is stupid.
