I did test in the prologue. In my testing, the wound Henry gets in the beginning doesn't bleed, and the wound Henry gets at Bozhena's is stabilized by the bandages in his inventory and Bozhena's storeroom. However, this appears to not be the case with everyone, therefore, I've repeatedly recommended NOT installing the mod until after the prologue. Dunno what else to say on the matter that I haven't had to repeat at least twice.

Might be a stupid question, I installed the mod and started the game from the beginning. Where can I find bandages that are enough for Henry to stop the bleeding? I have found some in the room next to Hans and Bozhena but thats unfortunately not enough. You said, you tested the prologue with this mod, thats why Im asking this question.

Well, there's the perk "Fundamentals of Medicine" under Scholarship, which improves bandage efficiency as well.

Or if there was like a tourniquet that would help for heavy bleeding. Soft lock might have been an exaggeration, in the beginning I wasn't able to do stealth because of how bad the bleeding is when u get shot. I ended up running with hans to the end and luckily the 6 people chasing me turned into the one after the cutscene.

Soft-locking? Even in the prologue, Henry as access to additional bandages in Bohzena's storeroom. And 20-30 bandages after a fight? That would require severe injuries to more than three body parts. I'm surprised Henry didn't die. I may change bandages, though - was thinking about creating a 'medicated bandage' linked to alchemy, but so far the process has been difficult.

Can you nerf the amount of bandages needed for an injury? It actually soft locks u, also its awkward to use 20-30 rolls of bandages after a battle.

The game applies injuries, and possibly bleeding, to Henry during the prologue with no means of treatment.

When you say "-This mod should be used after the prologue." does that mean the mod breaks the prologue in some way or does it only make it more difficult?

I will not add other localization to my mods.It's too big a pain-in-the-ass updating each language file every time I wanna make changes. Anyone can make a language translation of any mod - but it's up to the translator whether to update their translations. Again, if you're interested in making translation mods, in general, use the discord link.

To make this clear, i never in my life touched modding and even don't know how to publish it in Steam. I suppose, i have to figure it out. Was hoping just make for you a translation so you could carefully put it in your mod. Also i could've help with other mods translation, like realish poisons. And translated Steam pages for mods as well. I know it is possible to add different translations into one mod file

When publishing a translation, ensure you change the xml file name to match the modid in your new or edited mod.manifest. The only file that should be in the translation is the new tanslation file - do not re-publish the mod you're translating. Translations are easy.
1. Open the localization file,
2. copy the localization pak.
2. unpak the copied pak
3. open the xml
4. Every entry has a duplicate line. The second one is the version shown in game, therefore, that is the one that can be changed to whatever language you want.
5. Use a pak build from Nexus or Wirar to repak the copied pak, change English to whatever language you want.
6 place the new pack into the Localization folder.

If you have issues with scripted injuries in the prologue, don't install the mod until after the prologue.

To be more specific, the prologue seems to give you about a 70% torso injury so the bleed is guaranteed.

I'd like to report that the bleeding issue is happening to me as well. The prologue causes bleeding so you can never make it through without your vision going completely red and dark and then dying.

I've heard this, but it's never happened to me, and I've play-tested this mod extensively through the prologue. And even if it did, I'm not resetting the thresholds, which would nerf the entire mod, just for that scripted event during the prologue. Just wait until after to the prologue to install the mod.

basically the moment you get ambushed by the pond, when trying to run away from the bandits your injury to the shoulder causes bleeding and i can t advance trough the patrols all the way to Bozhena without bleeding to death

I don't even want to try and guess why that happened; however, it's not due to this mod. This is a parameter mod. Parameter tweaks have nothing to do with save scripts, nor status effect continuity between saves.

During prologue, Henry is bleeding after escaping from the pond. it's 100% death if continue follow Hans as there's no way to stop the bleed.

@Vilab, Bleed, but not to death. There's the Die Hard perk, but that is triggered by a fatal hit, rather than bleed damage over time. I'm not sure how to go about that.

I too dislike how wounds are nearly irrelevant in KCD 2

I wonder if it would be possibe to have the benefits of this mod, without the death by bleeding part ( stopping it at 1HP ? )
