@5150 - Well, assuming you are referring to my versions here:

Seeds Pleases Lite Adjusted expands plant stuff, and Simple Chains: Leather Adjusted expands leather processing. Same as Simple Chains: Steel Adjusted deals with steel processing, and Simple Chains: Lumber Adjusted deals with tree stuff. There have been some other tweaks and such added, but the core is essentially this.

I use the majority of mods I have made, and some like Chitin and Bone have limited processing as well/ For other authors I'd recommended using Better Wool Production and Cloth Production Expanded which deal with those areas.

For the record, I was referring to Combat Extended when I said "I don't use that mod" not my own, so I meant anything new that had been added to that mod. :P

Actually, the reason I asked about the CE compatibility was because I use it alongside Seeds Please. In Seeds Please, you have to process Cotton plants (and devilstrand) to get cloth, but leather is immediately usable after butchering. I find that inconsistency a bit jarring for the flow of the game.

@5150 - I can patch new stuff in easily enough, but I'll need to know what I'm looking for. I don't use the mod myself, and from what I see there's a ton of other mods that interact with it in some way?

If you can provide details on what's been added, and post it as a discussion, then I'll take a look at it when I have the time. Maybe next weekend.

I did a test as a developer mod start, and for now, the Combat Extended patch code written by the original mod author, owl, seems to be working. However, I think this mod introduces newly categorized leather types, and there doesn't seem to be a patch for those, so they probably aren't being applied. Honestly, I'm not sure.

@5150 - No idea to be honest. There are a ton of older mod support patches, and I assume they still work so long as the mod authors don't go changing defNames or whatever. If by "CE" you are referring to Combat Extended it was compatible in 1.3 at least.

Same applies for that mod too. I don't use it though, so iunno for sure. I'd suggest testing it out with a new game using that mod and this one, and see what happens?

Updated for Anomaly DLC which I previously forgot to do, and Odyssey DLC. Certain creatures within these DLC will now drop items as expected for the mod, rather than direct leather. See change notes for details.

@созерцатель - No worries. I did notice that I forgot to adjust the values of the old bird leather though, so I fixed that as they should be worth the same as old lizard leather. It's all sauropsid when harvested, but seemed a bit weird the old stuff didn't match.

The darker colour is to distinguish the two, given old bird leather can not be used together with old lizard leather, due to game limitations

@созерцатель - Yeah, don't worry about that. On new games, it's not gonna make any difference, as the darker version does not exist. Butchering birds and lizards will only produce the lighter sauropsid leather.

The darker sauropsid leather is the old bird leather category, which exits here for the sake of preserving existing stock in old saves The result is having this duplicate category in production stations, but it can safely be ignored.

The alternative was to use the same method OC did, but that results in a huge loss of stock, as the "dummy" leathers are worthless.

Thanks for your work. For some reason I have 2 types of sauropsid leather in bills and stockpiles. They are identical but have different colours. No other mods. Sorry for my English.
