There once was a commander, kind-hearted and skilled, just like you. One winter day, while on patrol, he noticed the window of a guard hut was broken. Inside, a young soldier was standing watch. He was shivering from the cold but didn’t complain. The commander asked:

That would be great. after all, what matters is that it's wearable and looks good. i'll wait for that mod that replaces the jacket with that fancy suit

I'm looking forward to such a mod or something similar. The idea with the replacement (Jacket 05) sounds great too.

Officers on board can already put this uniform in some cases,,,
so the simplest way would be to make a mode that modifies the source code, then this uniform will be available among the list of all others uniforms choices.

When captain die and officer is promoted,
But it's the same uniform used by the game for senior officers in ports.
So, if we change this uniform, the change will apply to all those characters.
To get that special uniform, our U-boat captain needs to die, and if we promote one of our officers to captain, they wear that special uniform. You can test and try it yourself.
I’d really like to talk about this topic. I found the files in a few games and I’m willing to help in any way because I’ve done extensive research.

I've seen many mods during my career as a submariner, but I've never seen the ability to wear the uniform of high command officers. In port, these officers wear a special uniform and it's nowhere to be found. Technically, the game later provides access to a staff officer who wears this uniform initially, but his clothing slots are empty in the editor.
I have a question: is it even possible to implement this or did the game developers not provide for this possibility?
I searched for information on the Internet for a long time about this, but nothing was found even close.
Perhaps you could add this to the game, since in the game files this uniform is automatically equipped on your captain several times when entering a port and successfully completing a mission.
Most of the time, they don't even bother to read how the mod works, and they don’t even explain what exactly is going wrong for them... is the computer freezing? Is the game crashing? Are textures missing? No, they just drop a vague complaint as if I had scammed them.
And for the genuinely nice people having issues ?
I’m sorry, but I can’t test my mod on every computer in the world. But right now, the mod has around 8,000 users, and the fact that I only receive rare complaints suggests that the problem is most likely on their side.
