it seems like my helmet is now always off? I can never put it on, even in combat (pressing z does not pull down the visor) and in inventory it does not show me with the helmet on.

not sure why but had to unsub resub to get it working.
but it is working now.
I can finally ear helmets! YAY for being properly armoured.

How's the status of this mode now? Works ok for everyone?

Somehow its not working for me, is it enough just to have subscripted to this mod and enable it at workshop options before launching a game, or is there more to do?

Works fine in 1.3, I've yet to experience any crashes or issues. Helmet is still removed during dialogue in 1.3

The game crashes with this mod when trying to talk to someone. We need an update.

Hi Ferelar. I think you are right so my apologies to the mod creator. I uninstalled all mods and then used mod cleaner which fixed my save file. Now that the new patch is out I will try adding some mods again including this one which is one of my favourite mods.

@Warriors55 This is not an issue with this mod necessarily, the latest update is causing an issue within the save file which is probably what you are experiencing. The issue is caused by a list (within the savegame file) of all installed mods accidentally gets duplicated within the save file itself every time you save or load. Eventually this list after multiple duplications makes the save overflow and become a 0kb unloadable file. You can check online for the tool to purge this list and that may solve your issue. Remember to use it again every once in a while, until they patch this (hopefully this Thursday alongside the DLC release).

They mod is causing constant crashing with the latest KCD2 update every single time the game is saved. I have uninstalled all mods and tried adding them one at a time and this is the one that causes the issue.

ranged version makes it impossible to archery contests. I like this mod, any way to fix that?

After exiting cut scenes the helmet is not put back on so i had some battles fought withou tthe helmet because believed it was attached. So I'm uninstalling this for the moment. Great effort tho and keep up the good work!

Is there a way to enable the "random" optional setting of the mod? Right now it just always removes the helmet, but I like your option of having it be random, so I get to sometimes see my cool helmet.

I installed the Mod and it doesn't work.

is it possible to get a ranged removed mod that stands for itself? :)

Before Maleshov Zizka said there is not much steel on me (i was wearing top-notch armor) probably because of the mod. It is not a problem bc you can say you're ready to go

When you start a new game one of the first things you have to do is to fight Hans Capon in the field. He demands to wear an helmet. Your mod removes it when he checks it in the dialog. So further progress is broken.

Unfortunately because helmets are unequipped when talking to bathhouse matrons to ask for services, helmets are not washed after selection and need to be cleaned at ponds.

The problem I'm having is that my helmet is not re-equipt after speaking with someone so I have to keep going into my inventory to put it back on.

Good mod with some quirks. Aside from those noted above, fistfights or story sequences that have Henry remove all of his gear can prevent the helmet from being re-equipped after the finishing cutscene. There is also a more annoying bug, in which if you move from Trosky to Kuttenberg, the mod does not re-equip the helmet and any attempt to start a conversation ends in a crash until you’ve re-equipped it manually. Mostly does what it’s supposed to do, but may need to be uninstalled/reinstalled under certain circumstances.

Can you do one that forces your visor down in cutscenes? : O

at the start of the game were u fight sir hans it makes u put on a helmet and use a wooden sword. the mod removes the helmet, the games knows this and dose not let u begin fight. and i cannot play the game. is this just me?
