Fun as hell take on the OG Arma 3 KOTH by samatra. Fleshed out, combat is fun, the grind with persistent xp is fun. Jhett putting in insane work constantly. Most fun I've had on squad outside of Galactic contention

KOTH is on UE5 yes, there are a few bugs we are still ironing out but its playable. There are unlinked servers who have their own store configs, but we have recently added some of the weapons such as the g18, and the recon drones (using the new Drone Operator Perk)

it seems certain weapons are broken to purchase, and you can buy any vehicles now, including tanks?

has KOTH really been fully ported to UE5 already? if so, im impressed

yeah their server is unlinked, as they have different economy values etc that would be unbalanced against the other servers saves. We are seeding daily EU #1 and NA#2, but anywhere you find to enjoy koth is great to me :)

you are right i see it now, but still very strange when the russian server has more players than the official king of the hill server. i cant really play with 0 players so i will stay on the russian for now. thx for help tho

also the progress didnt carry over, so thats a major disadvantage to switch servers

check your filters! you should be always able to find it searching [KOTH], anything with "Linked Economy" will share your player saves between those servers! if servers are empty there is seeding bots to fight and level up as well

@Alexander The Great there is nothing paid at all for this mod, it is entirely free to play and host a server. there is a central economy to join which is optional (and free to join)

0 players in like 7 servers. its already gone i guess.

yes, you can search [KOTH] there are multiple servers, i have an NA and an EU server, and there are a few other communities hosting as well

ICO is tuned per server using voice connect mod, koth is a gamemode that uses basegame or other mod's weapons.

The bots are the worst... Sniping you through the whole map, through bushes and smoke

You know this might actually be fun if there was any kind of balance. $100k to unlock a semi decent gun is wild considering you have to go against high level players with tons of cash and the best weapons meanwhile you have to grind and grind $100 at a time with a mosin or a sks.

Awesome idea to make this game mode in Squad. My feedback so far would be that side recognition needs to be improved, teamkilling is wayyy to common. Some sort of plugin to make friendly names show better?
Also maybe replace the SKS with the M14? I'm about 2.5 hours in and still a long way off being able to perma buy the L85. Idk how many hours it's meant to take but it feels a little boring grinding at such a disadvantage against players with dmr/snipers with my iron sights.

My level doesn't seem to be getting any higher on weapons. In one game it increases and in the next it decreases.

Assistance needed: I am currently at level 23, yet I cannot purchase guns that are level 20 or below, they remain marked in red and do not provide me with the option to buy them despite me being higher level.

SKS + PU is displaying 'Level 10' in red letters; however, I am at a higher level, so this should not be displayed, It should be able to be bought.

file mismatch is due to server being out of date, my KOTH EU#1 and NA#2 will always be up to date if you are unsure if a server has updated yet or not you can check there

I'm getting a file miss match when joining the =B&B= server. I'm on V8.8.2.2.391675.911-4.27.2 and the B&B server is V8.8.2.2.391675.868. I can join a different KOTH server with the same game version.

I checked game intergretie. Removed all the mods and dit the rebooting stuff. Still no worky worky.
