@WeakSide You can use the folders that are not included in my mod. Or, more simply, copy the mod you linked to into the game directory, then copy mine. This will overwrite all textures, but the lighting effects and skybox should remain unchanged.

This mod doesn’t change anything about the textures of the HV electric poles or anything else about it. The problem isn’t with the mod. There are other mods in the workshop that alter HV electric pole assets.

In the mod folder, there’s an extra folder called "street with lanterns - sidewalk available" where the version with sidewalks is located. That reminds me, those should be brighter since I didn’t adjust them to the new darker scheme. I forgot to include that in the description. It’s actually mentioned in the old mod version.

I really liked the mods and textures :ghlol:.
But I have a question, the sidewalk on the asphalt road with lights isn’t showing up, unlike the brick road which has a nice sidewalk. Is that intentional?
Because between the two asphalt roads, the only difference I can see is the presence or absence of lights, but neither of them has a sidewalk.

I didn't at first either. Which also bothers me, but you can live with it. If I make the streets even brighter, they are too bright again in the normal biomes ^^

There are only 2 files for asphalt roads in the game. One with & without lanterns.

If you think it might look like this, it's because the asphalt looks darker due to the lighter surroundings. It should not be possible that there are other roads there.

Pay attention to the curbs, they should be the same as in the normal biome. It just looks different because of the different lighting

Absolutely love these textures. But, I am having an issue. Your asphalt road texture is only showing up in the base game biome while the vanilla asphalt texture is showing up in the desert biome.

in older mod versions (I can't remember which one) you will find a gravel road file that should correspond to what you are looking for.

Should also be compatible as a single file. The name of the file is something with poormud, I don't know the folder by heart but there are several versions of it. Some are the dirt roads, some are the gravel roads.

There are 2 .dds files if I remember correctly.

Love this texture pack but i have a request: would you please make an alternative where the gravel road is not cobblestone but gravel? I like how the replacement for panel roads look but i would like to have gravel roads too instead of cobblestone.

I have no idea. I'm not a programmer and don't know what's involved. But that's the case with many, if not all, games: if you change something specific, it can change the whole process and have unforeseen consequences. Chain reaction.

From a logical point of view, that's the only thing I can think of. Since it was obvious (with the smoke). The game has problems in some areas anyway, because the few people who develop it can't see everything or edit it that quickly.

Since I am someone who always thought that texture mods just replace "dumb" graphic files - what is actually the problem that can happen with particle effects and what do ini files do? I'm just curious.

Normally the mod should not cause this. The only thing would be particle effects, I removed the ini files & now it should work if it was due to the mod.

Reinstalling should work.
If there are still problems, it's not the mod. :soviet::SPRING:

My game crashed to desktop when I bought my first Steam loco while zooming on it. Retried several times, always the same (v1.1.0.8 and v1.1.0.9). Removed the texture pack, now it works (and looks totally ugly :D ). Is it possible that the texture pack can crash the game?

@Tchort Yes, I tested it myself and it no longer works. I don't know why either, maybe the developers added some other hidden code that now controls it. I reported it as a bug on the official Discord. No idea why it suddenly stopped working.

@Tchort you can test it. Take a simple map in simple mode. Build a house there & give them cars, then a long road 4-5 kilometers long to a store. Normally they should drive there then

The extended car range doesn't seem to work, at least i've never seen them go further than default. Love the textures btw.

Idk why, but this link for discord didnt work for me. And wouldn't it be better to give a link to imgur, for example? Yes, I know you want to have people on your server, but it's pointless. People will only come for the photos and leave, or they will never come back
