Animal addiction in this mod is absolutely inconsequential, it disappears for no reason and causes no huge mood debuffs. Wish it was possible to ask the og creator to tweak it.

is there any way to clear touching withdrawl? I had a colonist get addicted to a visiting caravan's duck and now they have a permanent -30 mood debuff

This is probably the most realistic and relatable mod I've ever seen. When I still had a dog I would often specifically seek him out just to touch him and leave.

Just the other day I was thinking that the lack of this sort of thing was the *only* thing the Sims had over Rimworld(, or at least, the only one I will acknowledge). Mlie is doing God's work
