Hello there, i'm hosting a server and usually i keep client and server mods synced but since NotQuiteNitrate is a Client mod, it is throwing errors while loading in the server, can you make it ignore its loading while in a server console?

if there are then I don't know about them

are there any consistent/noticably disruptive compatibility issues that we know of? if not i'm just gonna throw this on to my regular mod list

More like "welcome to the steam workshop" really. With ease of access comes the oddballs who refuse to look into issues to make sure it's not another mod's fault, or even their own fault. Sometimes they don't even read the descriptions of what they download...

There's a reason there's a dependancy addon for Garry's Mod called "The ability to read" that's only purpose is to make the person realize they should read the description of the addon they're subscribing to.

This mod works fine by itself and is a good choice over Nitrate as well if you just need a smaller gain or if Nitrate causes too many issues for you.

This mod isn't a joke and the 50-100 times performance boost to tile rendering was in regards to Nitrate which uses cached chunks for rendering which means it doesn't have to re-render tiles that weren't modified, allowing it to entirely skip rendering them lol

Nitrate will come back eventually but I have zero intention of enabling comments again since it was mostly stupid people asking stupid things.

There is no reason not to use this mod with Nitrate. Anything incompatible has been tested and will be automatically disabled.

Tile rendering optimizations done by this mod will be somewhat benign when Nitrate is enabled because Nitrate makes tile rendering like 50-100 times faster in much general scenarios, but it doesn't hurt to have.

Should this be used with nitrate? is there any benefit to that? or does it just take some performance tweaks from nitrate that are simpler and more compatible with other mods and there is no point using it with nitrate (which would essentially defeat the point of this mod)?

The performance tweaks will work with Nitrate but aren't that important.

this thing partialy fixed huge fps drops in modded terraria (especially when there's tons of light sources, especially from destroyer boss whos modified by mech bossers rework, fargo, calamity, etc) HUGE WIN.
