@Monkey Butt Gamer Idk, maybe? It's a bit paradoxical. Retail gives XP where if you're level 0 you'll get to lvl 1, and of course learning how to connect a generator.

I'm also playing as a illiterate, on apocalypse with all negative traits, i'm using the mod called learn how to read, and i need power to watch TV to be able to read, so your saying there is still away i can get power.

@Monkey Butt Gamer If you're using the retail version of the mod, if you do get power back on. You can still get electrical xp and some boredom reduction. So if you find it, it may still have some use.

I can't remember where I found the RCP, but try looking in your project zomboid files from steam.

hey there. I was just looking through the workshop and saw your mod and it made me laugh to myself. I grew up in the 90's and remember how they put everything on VHS back then.

@Barc Nova actually forgot about that, this is just another way to do something that would otherwise take a really long time.

@MaHuJa in B42, players can automatically learn to use generators by reaching Level 3 in the Electrical Skill. No skill book needed, you just need to invest some time in dismantling electrical items around the map. Electrical is the only skill that still rewards you with EXP for dismantling items in B42.

@MaHuJa I think so, I kinda had it in mind when I made the mod but it was more of giving people another option as well no matter what perks they choose.

But this should pair well with it, if you can find a VHS in time before the power turns off.

Wasn't there an illiterate debuff you can set on your character for extra points? I'm guessing this is the only way such a character can learn to use generators.

@idealturk English is the default language for this mod, there is just also Spanish and French support, I will update the list so it shows all languages supported.

Everybody's trying to find fault. This is an alternative to the VHS magazine. Even with electricity, a lot of people can't find magazines. I think you've done a very useful job. Thank you very much. I'd be happy if there's English language support.

@drshahramanvariazar the VHS is put into the "retail-vhs" group, which means it spawns like any other retail vhs and is affected by loot settings.

skill issue. try finding one in west points post service building ( i found one there)

@Timou It's mostly for those that don't shut off the power immediately to have another chance to find a way to use generators.

Like collecting water from taps you need to be fast to find the VHS if you want any use from it.
