Hey this mod seems really awesome! I am new to the game and when I subscribe to it on steam, it looks like it isn't showing up in the mods list in game. Any tips on that? Thank you!!

@Raz what im asking in my original post is maybe for a secondary mod that applys no knock back but slows your mining speed so that its the same as base to account for the no knock back, I just dont want to artificially slightly increase the rate i can mine

PS - if you disabled the feature for Prestige rather than letting the game error it out, I'm sure you could get the mod whitelisted. The author of [V4 STABLE] Gadget Select did that and would probably be happy to tell you how.

@BlivetWidget you are correct, it does not work in Prestige mode (which is good, as I have no control over that!) I have updated the description to reflect that.

I gave it a try and it's interesting. Depending on resource availability it actually has the potential to make the game harder, since wave weight is dependent on resources mined, and this increases your mining rate without increasing your resource depositing rate, leading to stronger waves without stronger defenses, so to balance that out you need to prioritize the tech tree differently than you would without the mod (and resource packer becomes more valuable).

BTW does it ACTUALLY work in all game modes, or do you just think it does? I would be really surprised if this works in Prestige mode, and if it does, it's likely to get the player banned from the leaderboards.

@Ben Secrist the mod doesn't actually modify the mining speed, it just inherently creates a situation where you will be able to effectively mine faster because your drill is in contact with the blocks more frequently than is possible when knockback is present. Hopefully that makes sense!

@BlivetWidget since this modifies the keeper's drill, it's active in all game modes. I can add that to the description.

Okay, it's convenient, but it really breaks the atmosphere of resource extraction, just my personal opinion.

Fixed a bug causing the keeper to face the wrong direction while mining.
