And damn this map!! (♥♥♥♥ actually works incredible, and I suggest checking out battalion wars 2 Ice station X mission cause it looks the same. Brilliant work!)

Try disembarking from the front seat, you might be disembarking from one of the CIWS

You are most likely disembarking too early, you have to wait until the boat beaches itself.
