Make sure you're using build 42 of the game.
Enable the mod and apply the changes.
Go to Mods→Mod Order.
If the mod has been enabled correctly, a mod search field should appear at the top, and a new button for editing the sorting rules should appear on the right side of each mod.
If you want to manually change the load order, hover your cursor over the icon to the left of the mod's name and drag it to the desired location (this drag-and-drop feature is a feature of the game developers, not mine).
I didn't understand the question. My mod doesn't have any "slider" options. Please write your question in your own language if English isn't your native language. Also, try reading the Q&A section.
Read the Q&A in the mod description
This shouldn't happen. If you have many mods enabled, there's likely a mod conflict. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the problem without an error message.
Try to detect the conflict yourself, for example, using a binary search.
The mod has been updated. Now all mods with the keyword "bugfix" in their name will be considered tweaks and will be placed above all others.
The problem is not reproducible.
I completely uninstalled the game, unsubscribed from all mods, deleted all remaining game files, and after a clean install, this mod appears in my mod list without any problems (it's the only one listed in my subscriptions).
So, this issue is not related to this mod.

Try verifying the integrity of the game files on Steam.
Everything works for me on this game version.
please make sure you are subscribing to the correct version of the mod.
in the main menu of the game at the bottom is written the version of the game.
This version of the mod is only for version b42
for version 41 of the game use the mod of the corresponding version https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3180893708
Problems with Neat_Building.
Try disabling it and sorting the mod order using my mod. I hope this solves your problems.
Yes, I needed the mod order from the clipboard. Thank you.
I added your mod preset to my game, activated it, and clicked the mod sorting button. As a result, all the mods were sorted by category in the order specified in my mod's description. So, I couldn't reproduce what you were saying about the mods being sorted in the wrong order.
However, after I applied the changes and the mods from your preset were activated, the game returned 168 errors and stopped launching altogether. This isn't difficult to fix (in the "default.txt" file located at "C:\Users\<username>\Zomboid\mods", you need to delete the contents of the "mods" list), but the problem is clearly not with my mod.
Apparently, there's some critical conflict between some mods that isn't being caught by the settings and sorting rules specified by the authors of the conflicting mods.
I've done the list separating the mods in the colors they appear in mod menu, it's in the description of the collection now, I hope you can find the problem. Thank you for the attention and the help so far.
It's a good idea to create a collection so I can reproduce your issue, but could you also add your enabled mods to the collection description?
(Create a new mod preset in the mod menu and share it.)
so, sadly my problem persists, it's not sorting right. i've also checked "Bug reports" but coudn't find a solution, and in my "sorting rules" txt file and in it's two backups, there's nothing, i don't know if it's meant to be like this.
your mod was doing the hard work for me, cause i'm not the codes guy, but i like lots of mods. i'm blind here, can't even play my saves right now

this is the list of every mod i use. if it won't trouble you, check it out and let me know if there's some mod that may be uncompatible with yours, please. sorry again, and thanks
If the versions match, try checking the integrity of the game files using the appropriate option in Steam.

1.0.13:
The “tweaks” category has moved to first place in the category sorting order.
Please let me know if this breaks anything.
And remember: updating the mod load order in a midsave can result in lost saves. Do this at your own risk.
1.0.12:
1) fixed missing sorting rules info if reopen editing mode
2) Circular dependency exception handling: now the exception does not block sorting
3) Fixed incorrect highlighting of incompatible mods under certain conditions. (When an incompatible mod was cached, but after disabling it, the highlighting did not disappear.)
the maps i'm using are "[B42]Fort Preston" and "Fort Benning B42" only. but i said as an exemple, the other mods are out of order aswell
and with "[B42]Project Cook (New)V1.0" mod i'm having the same issue that @Cyrisa pointed out. because it's no longer ordering, the mod appear in red. this is because it's being loaded before "[B42]NeatUI Framework" that needs to be loaded first, wich would be easy to adjust if it was the only one, but all other mods are a mess too :(
could be another mod interfering? i use lots of mods, so i'm sorry for the trouble if it's not your mod that's causing this
Please provide the name of the map mod you're referring to in the example, which loads last.
Please make sure you haven't added any custom sorting rules for mods that load in the wrong order.
P.S. I've checked locally, and the load order is as expected.
Yes, updating the mod load order in a mid-save can result in losing that save (in the worst case). In any case, I recommend backing up the save and mod load order (using presets in the mod menu) before changing the order. Or try doing it on a new save and see what changes.
this feature is redundant. Please use loadFirst sorting rules or drag and drop with autoscroll (just drag and hold above the borders of the mod load order window.)
Added new parameters to the sorting rules editor: LoadFirst, LoadLast and Category.
now there is no way to change the category manually, but this is a great idea for improvement! maybe I will implement it)
