If the versions match, try checking the integrity of the game files using the appropriate option in Steam.
please make sure you are subscribing to the correct version of the mod.
in the main menu of the game at the bottom is written the version of the game.
This version of the mod is only for version b42
for version 41 of the game use the mod of the corresponding version https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3180893708
1.0.13:
The “tweaks” category has moved to first place in the category sorting order.
Please let me know if this breaks anything.
And remember: updating the mod load order in a midsave can result in lost saves. Do this at your own risk.
1.0.12:
1) fixed missing sorting rules info if reopen editing mode
2) Circular dependency exception handling: now the exception does not block sorting
3) Fixed incorrect highlighting of incompatible mods under certain conditions. (When an incompatible mod was cached, but after disabling it, the highlighting did not disappear.)
the maps i'm using are "[B42]Fort Preston" and "Fort Benning B42" only. but i said as an exemple, the other mods are out of order aswell
and with "[B42]Project Cook (New)V1.0" mod i'm having the same issue that @Cyrisa pointed out. because it's no longer ordering, the mod appear in red. this is because it's being loaded before "[B42]NeatUI Framework" that needs to be loaded first, wich would be easy to adjust if it was the only one, but all other mods are a mess too :(
could be another mod interfering? i use lots of mods, so i'm sorry for the trouble if it's not your mod that's causing this
Please provide the name of the map mod you're referring to in the example, which loads last.
Please make sure you haven't added any custom sorting rules for mods that load in the wrong order.
P.S. I've checked locally, and the load order is as expected.
Yes, updating the mod load order in a mid-save can result in losing that save (in the worst case). In any case, I recommend backing up the save and mod load order (using presets in the mod menu) before changing the order. Or try doing it on a new save and see what changes.
this feature is redundant. Please use loadFirst sorting rules or drag and drop with autoscroll (just drag and hold above the borders of the mod load order window.)
Added new parameters to the sorting rules editor: LoadFirst, LoadLast and Category.
now there is no way to change the category manually, but this is a great idea for improvement! maybe I will implement it)
You are absolutely right, mod authors should initially set up the dependencies for their mods correctly.
At the moment there is no other way to save and load the order of mods other than sorting rules.
all mods that are specified as required for another mod will be placed above this mod.
perhaps in terms of tiles and maps this may not play any role (I have not personally checked), but for scripts it is important.

Read the "Sorting Rules" discussion:

I checked, on version 42.11 the mod works correctly. Try to leave only this one mod enabled and check if anything has changed (the most obvious change is the mod search field at the top of the mod sorting order window). If this does not work, then try to check the integrity of the game files via Steam
All you need to do is enable this mod, go to the mod loading order and click the "Sort" button at the bottom of the screen.
Done!
If necessary, you can manually change the mod loading order or set your own sorting rules using the sorting rules editor
you are right! Fixed!
As far as I remember (if I’m not mistaken from when I checked in April), the mod doesn’t include those texts for translation.
It would be great if you could provide them so we can properly localize that part too.
please share the error message in the "bug reports" discussion
I didn't quite understand your request. Do you want the mod's description to be displayed in the tooltip?
added automatic scrolling of the mods list when dragging outside the mods window
Так же в меню модов уже есть возможность создания пресетов (рядом с кнопкой "назад"). Просто включите нужные вам моды и нажмите кнопку сохранить, дайте любое имя и в выпадающем списке вы сможете выбирать ваш список модов
Turns out from default the game is on b41 stable. Little did I know the recent update is b42 unstable, not b42 stable. I having been downloading b42 mods and wondering why some don't work. Now I feel stupid. lol

maybe its because Steam workshop does not download directly to my games 'real mod folder'. So I need to copy the 'ModLoadOrderSorter_b42' from the steam workshop folder into my Project Zomboid mod folder found in my 'Users' folder.
Every other mod I did this with finally showed up besides this one
