It'd have to be a standalone armor variant, and I lack the time for that rn.
It has now been patched back in.
The only way to have it implemented is very much to have it be the way I did it- ores in set biomes of the same value, and panning to allow for it to be gotten anywhere.
As there can be no "true" set resource values, drills can never work for gold. An unfortunate limitation of the engine.

It does make it pretty challenging, but it's kind of a fun puzzle to solve to make a somewhat interesting quest line lol.
Thanks for the mod, I'll definitely check it out! Great job bro with all of your mods
Also, @Iriemk I WAS considering adding another mod as an "addition" to this one / CID for precious gems. Mine them, throw them in a rock tumbler, use them to make different kinds of jewelry with different values as per gem rareness.
As for quests relating to items like that, all NPCs can really do is react to object, and unfortunately not take them. Really does limit a lot of things, and CID has that same issue with the research facility.
I will certainly check again to see if the gold nugget storage wasn't fixed (and fix it if it wasn't)
Do you know if this works with UWE? if so, this would be a great addition for the Roleplay Collection
Great job on your mod by the way, and congratulations on the front page!
Great idea, it is kinda tricky to make quests like that, but it can be done with some imagination lol (you have to do some tricks behind the scenes, typical game dev style).
And a plea: Expand on this! There was a "Treasure Hunter mod" for the old Fallout New Vegas, probably the one mod I enjoyed most in all games I ever modded. Had gem mines, gold mines, silver mines, but also had a quest with a multi-part map you had to collect before you got to a big hidden treasure stash and such.
Kenshi lacks something like that, and this would be the perfect base for such a Treasure Hunter mod.
