No clue what's causing the color to stop working for people. For what it's worth, I use an enhanced playermodel selector (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2257795841) , but for testing purposes I turned it off and the color selection still worked. No recently posted mods seem to interact with playermodels in a way that would cause this.

yeah, the small bits of red should only show up if you use a color that's extremely dark. it was left there so you can still see the contour lines and details, because otherwise they'd be fully black

some more facts, i can still see tiny splotches of red in the playermodel lol
