Ignore all the bozos hating this map is fire, only issue is evil book is not so obvious otherwise really cool setting and creepy as hell, better than PNG jumpscares every two seconds.:steamthumbsup:

The map was awesome! Truly a 100/10 experience :D I am very grateful to be able to play the map. You have real potential and I would love to see more maps from you! i collected every cross and i was thinking there was a good ending, there was not (the crosses don't unlock anything)

excellent work <3 scared the bejeezus outta me, surprisingly effective atmosphere too! just gotta make sure to bring a lantern with you I realized, otherwise events won't trigger properly. a lot of work put into this one, very impressive.

only other thing I'd note is sometimes it tells me "CROSS FOUND" when I don't think I really did anything...? I found actual crosses later in the game but it would sometimes just happen at random... might be a case of something triggering by accident or maybe it happened too fast. I only found about 3 actual crosses total but I had the message appear like 5-6 times.

The book of evil should have an animation or a prompt when you get it. I spent 30 minutes walking in the map in hope of finding the book.

Excellent one, I love the atmosphere. Horror is something that's not spamming jumpscares or earrapes. Something is unknown, obscure and cryptic and it's never actually kill you directly but drive you insane. Brilliant work! :steamthumbsup:

I'm glad to see that we've come a long way since the 2014 Era GMOD Horror Maps...

Generic af, this would be excusable as a first horror map but it is not.
Boring to play. The beggining of the map in the middle of the city was more fun than the rest of the map.
Random loud sound = scary!
Make the jumpscares as loud, as grimy and as frequent as you want, this won't make them any less obnoxious or annoying.

Be more creative, dude, you have potential. But as is the map is D-tier at best.

Loved the whole setting, from starting in the atmospheric streets of Saint Petersburg, to eventually being shrouded in darkness with nothing but an oil lamp from Amnesia, this really was magnificent.

Not gona lie the map is a solid 9/10
The first encounter with the skinny fucker scared the shit out of me and my friend

only thing I have to complain about is how the light source is the lanterns that you have to carry around but its unique in its own way so I guess its pretty much fine :steammocking:
