I checked the mod, and I can't make sense of cttbs graticule. Why not use one of DarkRavens periscope mods we linked? They're unparalleled.

amy pf the tables are usefull with ctbbs-wider-periscope-view V.3?(it have 10 instead of 100, but i think is calibrated as one of the other periscope mod)

i may be missing something, but is there a reason i cannot option 1x, 2.5, 10x magnification for the More Accurate Persicope mod? The distance chart that is specific to that mod shows those magnification labels.

It is still up-to-date and working with 2025.1.
Subscribe, activate it in the launcher (ignore the "outdated" message if there is one, it's meaningless), and start using it.

@Geek On Hugs: Unless something major changes, the mod should be compatible with future updates.

@Lukas: Sorry, the way the mod is structured - it would be a lot of work to add a German language version.

@Ryan: I explained it in the description. Short answer, no. UBOAT is lacking a lot of routes, especially in the southern hemisphere. I may update the map in the future when UBOAT adds the type IX with more routes.

@Ferguson: Don't have the game installed right now to check it out. Safe answer, no.

@Vangheist, @anton: Not modding for UBOAT right now, I've been really busy. I'll revisit/consider people's suggestions when I get back into it.

Hello and my apologies if this has been asked and answered before: what do you think of adding sine tables for calculating AOB by aspect ratio? I just think it would be neat.

Love the Book as it is as well, never play without it anymore.

Is it possible to get a Version of this in German Language?

I subscribed but then didn't see it yet and just learned that I need to go into "Mods" on the launcher to enable it? So I've done that and it is enabled but in the launcher it says it is "outdated". Should I be concerned about that?

@Ctbb: I didn't add the book to FPP because I didn't think it would be necessary since it contains tables that are only useful when at periscope and map views. I also wanted 2 unique instances of the book for both views, one of which contains the nomograph. The current way I have my scripts/project setup, it doesn't make a FPP option feasible.

@Ragulsor: Youtube is fine with the hakenkreuz in games, I know of several SH steamers that never had issues...can't speak for other streaming platforms. Either way I'll add an option via a config file to replace it with an iron cross. I'll post the update soon.

The addition of the table for an attack at an AOB angle of 90° with the different torpedo speeds would be really interesting!!

Can you hide the hares cross? I think your mod is great and would like to use it in the live stream. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. greeting

Hello, is the Mod Savegame kompatible ?

I’ve subscribed to the mod but it’s not appearing in the launcher to enable it. Any ideas?

Updated to 1.1:

-Updated table for the More Accurate Periscope Sight mod.

-Reset button now also resets the size of both books and nomograph.

Be sure to read the updated description to understand the usage of the periscope distance tables. Basically, if you have your periscope magnification set to "Realistic", you use the "Realistic Periscope" table with either vanilla or the Realistic Periscope mod.

If set to "Extended", you use the More Accurate Periscope mod with the "More Accurate Periscope" table. No support for vanilla periscope magnification set to extended without this mod since it is a "easy mode" setting not within the scope of Das Book.

Great mod. Please add a page to calculate distance from the horizontal scale on the vanilla/modded periscopes as well.

Thanks mate! Finally, there is charts in Uboat - and a fine collection! Due to the lack of charts I developed a Python-calculator (thanks ChatGBT for Python-code), which is doing the same job. But charts are more authentic. There is a chart which could be integrated: Dependency of torpedo depth correlated to wind speed. Don't know if Uboat puts wave height into calculation...?

absolutely amazing mod. i have a collection of charts and sheets i accumulated over the last year, if you want i can send it to you and you can have a look and maybe, add it or do a second book with it.
i have a book with prisenordnung and a behavioral manual for uboat captains for search patterns, attacks and techniques like ausdampfverfahren and more, its a great collection of things i learned in forums about uboat warfare.
also i have posters of evrey great warships of different nations in one jpeg per nation.
and i have a great toroedo diagram for timed multiple torpedo hits, and many more. i have around 200 charts all converted in jpegs for easy usage. if interested dm me

@uber.aegis - Thanks for the heads up. The table for that mod was made pre 2025.1 update. I'll have a conversation with Drexack and see what changes need to be made.

Hi. More a FYI comment, I m using the more accurate periscope mod (WIDE) which only has two magnifications (x1.5 and x6). Your table has 3 magnifications for this mod (x1 ,x2.67 and x10). Regards
