yea i know, im working on a similar mod but ammo definitions cant affect where the shots came out of the model! ;-)
so if Arara didnt define that in the model it seems keen downgrade the turrets for some reason...
maybe accuracy or performance/bug issues, but anyway, nice that your mod is outdated so we have that opportunity to take them back :D

He uses the default turrets, what is different is the ammo they can take. Basicly he told the turrets that they should accept new ammo types, and how the ammo behaves is a separate data entry.

this model is default gatling turret of SE. I didn't modify it

DID YOU FIX/BUILD A NEW MODEL OF THE STOCK TURRET??? o.O
if yes, can i use them in my mods? - i realy like it that your turrets fire from the barrels and not from the center^^ - can you make a small ship gatling turret concept mod fix too?

It might be possible as ammo, not sure about turrets, but the 1.055 vid did show it as a possibility for the small ship sniper. So I thought maybe for other weapons.

Turn the Weapon types into a craftable ammo with its own specs of damage that seeems like easiest way to do it (not knowing much bout the mod API)
