I still get drop pod raids in regular land based colonies with this enabled, but I have a lot of mods, so who can say what is the cause.

Does not give an error but i think its a conflict with RimWar Mod.

@large I'm having the same issue - I'm using Bigger Gravship mod and have a 3,000 sized ship so maybe that is causing this?

@El Tiqui-Tiqui you're gonna have to give me more information if you want me to fix something.
I checked over the code and that shouldn't be possible so maybe another mod is doing it. I'd like to make a patch if that's the case.

@AmIDeadYet You can disable the various infestation types in the scenario settings.

@Kou This mod only forces drop pod raid strategies to re-roll into something else. Nothing more nothing less.

@Terran I just patched it for 1.5
Left it out of the 1.6 version since it seems the other mod author intends to change things that might break the patch anyway.

Oh! Its, uhh, Rimhammer - The End Times. Managed to find it after a lot of testing haha. Seems the developer may include a toggle when updated to 1.6 (though I play on 1.5, so, rip)

I'm on 1.5, and a mod I have keeps using "Magical Transportation Pods" which, unfortunately being a mod, isn't covered by this one. Any chance there's a way I could gimmick that myself? Great mod though, thank you. The only way to play the Winston Waves story teller - dropping 80 mercs into your base every 3 days is just not feasible nor fun.

@Rhys updated the mod. Raiders will now use pods in space, but will still not drop directly inside your base. They'll try to drop near the edge.

They follow the same rules as mech bosses if you scroll down and read my earlier comment.

This mod actually disables every single raid event for Asteroid bases.

Can you add an option to enable to for Asteroid/Space station stuff, or is it not possible for the game to tell the difference?

I honestly hate dealing with drop pods when they land within a bass, I prefer living in open space due to infestations in mountains.

@ailailou it disables the drop pod raid entry method for all raid types.
Sieges can still enter by walking in. I have a mod that disables those as well if you want.

Hey so the mech boss groups are programmed to not drop near your colony anyway.
It avoids humanlike pawns, valid buildings, roofed area, indoors. Looking for a valid tile farther than 65 grid spaces then getting closer if the check fails.

Changing the behavior is not something I'm going to do rn I don't want to do C# modding sry.

thank ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god i lost an entire base because of a retarded drop pod raid landing in my chem fuel and one of the raiders, must have been taliban, decided to throw a grenade directly into the fuel.

this not only fixed my game but made it better, because of this single mod now certain events actually start, i used to get ALOT of pod raids but now its other stuff AND i dont get pod raided day 2 of a tribal start.
