Sorry. What I meant was, can you play as Young Griff in the Golden company or is he a character that spawns on his own? Is there "Scripted Story Content" for him?

Can you start as Aegon the Conqueror en charge of the Golden company with this mod? Or maybe a Book mark for him?

Could you make an event just like in CK2 where Young Griff can distribute land amongst the GC claimants?

In my game, the golden company seems to be dissolved after Maelys's defeat when I played "Summer hall" time period bookmark. Is this intended? If not is there a way to bring them back?

@EnumaEllis no, quite the opposite. Only the original Blackfyres would have Valyrian Steel. The captains sword is staying as a sword.

Can't Captain's Sword move to a Regalia slot? Maybe nerf the prowess but keep the other modifier, and maybe add renown boost.

Certainly gives them an advantage, but the character should have better main weapons like all te Valyrian weapons lying around.

@Artyom its not a super easy fix, certain golden company members have a flag/value set on them to identify them as Golden Company members, most the canon ones have it.

Hey I love the mod! I have an issue where I'm playing as John Mudd The Younger and I created a separate Adventurer camp but he still uses the Golden Company armor. When I landed him he continues to use it as it's set to the default clothing. Is there any way to change this as it kinda breaks immersive though I know I can just change it myself in the barbershop.

They only appear after Aegon IV’s reign

Are they in a specific start date? I couldn't find them.

@Flaccidius Ejaculus you need the DLC that allows you to play landless. Then you can select them as a ruler.

How do I actually play as The Golden Company?

Hello, friend. When I form The Golden Company via decision during Daemon II playtrough, I don't gain the captain's sword after switching to Bittersteel. It would be a nice flavor to add here.

So, I figured it out. I had the "The Long Night AGOT+ Clothes Fix" actice, and that one was causing the issue. Posting this here just in case anyone else is facing the same issue, make sure to remove that one.

Hey! Thanks for the response. I am indeed using the Submod Core and my load order is in the exact order as in the image above. And I am also using the AGOT Compatch for Color Picker. I don't think I have any other mod that adds or modifies any clothes. I'll try testing the mod alone and testing my load order submod by submod to see what's happening.

@toninromulo are you using Submod Core? Its required.

Color picker shouldn't cause any issues. I tested with it and it seems to work fine (make sure you use the AGOT compatible one)

The only other thing it could be would be some other clothing mod that isn't listed in the load order image.

However, the main clothes are not showing up on my games. Head and legwear are showing up just fine, but all the other Golden Company followers and every one of my courtiers are semi-naked (I'm playing as Young Griff, just about to start the invasion).

The only clothing-related mod I'm running with it are Legacy of the Dragon, AGOT+ (which I assume are compatible with yours given the load order you used as a template) and Color Picker for Clothes. Is it possible Color Picker is incompatible with this one? I have lots of other submods as well, but none of them add any clothing.

a decision to gild your predecessors skull in gold have it add stats to the pike everytime you inherit it would be so sick.

@jedi I ran the playlist with no additional submods and redownloaded the mod multiple times. If you or anyone else has any ideas or have had the same issue lmk.

@jedi it adds the background and artifacts but I will keep working on it and if I find the mod that's not compatible I will post about it.

@Dick Dip Try unsubbing and resubing, otherwise you might be wrong on what your other mods are adding.

could i perhaps Comission a version of the targ/blackfyre character armours that is the Plate of the Dragon armour, but with a cloth covering the breastplate to dynamically display your COA?

okay but does this fix the golden company disbanding on first inheritance? its been a bug since the landless update.
