the songs almost never spawn. Really dissapointing

Music stops playing when Boombox is picked up. Cassette tape also disappears.

Cannot get this to work. I've spent hours and hours over this weekend trying to get this. I followed xXSWXx steps here in the comments, I tried Google, YouTube, I even put it into AI. I have tried this dozens of times and it just keeps dropping the same error "missing a mod.info file" but the file is RIGHT THERE and it's in the correct place. I've redone this so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times I am ready to smash my computer hahahaha I am going insane

As I said, I have done everything Google, YouTube, and AI have walked me through and it just never works, always circles back to the same stupid error about the mod.info file

Please dear mod creator, give us also source of AddYourMusic so that we can change chances of spawn.... I have only found one song out of 100 in game

Spoke too soon. I can't add MORE songs after the first few that I added, but also the first few songs I added? Can't be played at all. I drag them into the cassete player but the icon turns red. I give up on this

the guy bellow gave a decent enough explaination on how to make it work already. Idk if the spawnrate is fixed, I haven't found my tapes yet, but I know they are in the game because I can spawn them,

I tried to explain him personally because I don't speak english. I'm bad giving explanations on things in a language I don't speak perfectly lol. If you want I can explain to you too. Also, maybe the creator of the mod could make a good explanation instead of the subscribers of the mod. Is annoying to ask to people to give you help.

Hi peeps! I got it to works, here's what I did to help you folks;

1. Subscribe to True Music B42 by Scrappy Coco and this one here.
2. Follow instruction here , BUT DO NOT OPEN THE GAME YET (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DZghSBPOy4&ab_channel=Tsar%27sStories)
3. Open this mod in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3412040570\mods\True Music Addon Template b42\42\media\yourMusic.
4. Unpack zip in same folder \yourmusic (yourmusic.zip and OgnirsTools)
5. Add Music in Ogg, wav, or mp3 format to both tcboombox and tcvinylplayer.
6. You can add jpg for vinyl covers. Use cover_creator.exe to create jpg that match tracks.
7 .Run AddYourMusicToTheMod.exe (NOTICE THAT NOTHING SEEMS TO BE HAPPENING BUT LET IT RUN)
8. Run rename_files.exe to avoid conflicts with other add ons. (NAME IT WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT YOU MUST RENAME IT)
9. Run the game.
10. Enable the True Music B42 AND the NEW NAMED THAT YOU JUST DID. That's it!

So why nobody can explain it here? Why you need to add some on? Explain it here! Explain it how it works and how do you do it that it works! Don't say "someone helped me to figure it out"! Say nothing or explain it for everybody!
At the moment there is no clear Tutorial! No Video or something else!
So PLEASE someone explain it from beginning to the end! Which Mod you need, where you put the Music in and so on!

I too would like to know if I am doing it correctly, but am unsure. I have both True Musics for B42, the Main Mod and this add on. I have both installed, but only the main mod shows up in mod list.

Do I need to add my music to the addon folder or the main mod folder? They both have "YourMusic" files and the same ReadMe.txt lol

I can see the items in the debug menu, but Im not sure if I can spawn my own music or not, would I need to go find them? Maybe better off startign a new save to see if it works?

do i have to extract the OgnirsTools zip file first to use the 2 exe files in it? if so, do i extract it into the yourMusic folder?

Can somebody tell me, how to use it? I did my pack on B41 by instructions from the original TrueMusic mod, but in B42 I just can't do it. Maybe a guide or something?

Hi, running "addyourmusictothemod.exe" doesn't seem to do anything. I've added the music to the appropriate folders and then ran the .exe, but nothing seems to open. when i run the delete file, it works normally. Anyone have an idea why this could be?

yep. Just need new true music b42 mod, and to properly add your own music to mod via the recompiled EXE.

Does it work the same as in build 42?

Pardon, I am unfamiliar. Is there an issue with wardrobe distributions with the original AddYourMusicToTheMod.exe by iBrRus? I only added my own exe to make formatting custom music add ons easier. But if there's an issue with the source code upgrading from 41 to 42 I can def take a look at it
