@skarekrow warlords is very easy to learn how to make. however putting in your own custom factions is tedious if i recall correctly. arma commander is a capture the area kind of game mode, that adds in rts elements. Its easy to make a scenario with it, and a lot easier to select which units are available.

thats interesting , i always thought the Colt SAA was used in the civil war , thanks for sharing that il have to reluctantly remove my colts from my faction when i get a chance

This mod is not meant to be an alt-history, so adding a Colt SAA would be anachronistic. That revolver was created in 1871, and only entered service in 1873.

Colt single action would be a nice addition , i already have my own faction for civil war , mine looks very similar but i have a few colts , it can be found in the finite mod , just type Colt SAA into the workshop to find it ,

a CSA victory mod / faction wouldn't look that different aside from newer guns and more uniforms , specifically the springfield rolling block ( breach loading single shot rifles that replaced muskets ) that and a few lever action rifles , the odd shotgun and revolvers , the uniforms would remain about the same only difference is the southerns would have more uniforms as during the war the south lacked steady supplies of uniforms and had a large mix and many CSA soldiers had no uniform at all ( i may be wrong but thats my understanding and how i did my CSA victory faction )
