I stepped on glass (was wearing shoes but they had 2 holes) and my character was stuck limping for like an entire month thanks to the deep wound. Realistic maybe, but too much realism in games makes them less fun.

I walk my dog very frequently and she steps on broken glass just fine, has done it many times (I try to prevent her from doing it obviously, but I don't always see it). I know dog paws are more resilent than human soles but broken glass rarely stands upright ready to hurt anyone that steps on it, especially windows because they are flat and not curved like bottles.

Were there any bug reports about shoes disappearing? I would like to have the option to wear shoes or barefoot.

I was playing for hours on my singleplayer story, i accidentally past thru some glass shards. Jokes on me my sneakers were worn out and i didn't realize it. Fight for hours, shoot for dozens to arrive at pharmacy to try to find suture needle. Die in action. Steam ➡️ Workshop ➡️ Type SUTURE ➡️ Happen to Find Here ➡️ Get less disgusted from the game ➡️ SUBSCRIBED

yes, it's as it says in the description, your foot is immortal

Stupid question, but since it state that it will make feets completely invincible, does this also mean invincible to walking on broken glass ?

i imagine you're still working on the overarching mod but i feel like this would be a good positive trait that just negates damage only if you have that trait.
but yeah as someone with autism and sensory disorder this mod is definitely immersive for me. excited for the bigger version

what about an alternate solution where you make brick toys spawn on every tile?

Having grew up in rural northern Kentucky in the 90's doing plenty of walking around the deep forests and mountains barefoot i endorse this mod. The only real threats to your feet are sharp rocks, thorns or more so where they used to be now its just a minefield of 1-2 inch long extra stabby often hidden thorns, copperheads (in case you dont know its a instant death noodle they're everywhere they're extremely camouflaged they also make no noise), random small holes hidden in grass or leaves (my mortal enemy and one weakness on this list rip ankles), mud daubers (not from buenos aires but i still say kill'em all) and the omnipresent used syringe needle. Maybe old rusty nails and arrowheads depending on where you are these places are definitely in the game too idk if im ready for hunting down tetanus shots in zomboid quite yet tho lol

walking barefoot is basically risk free. you can get, like, 1 disease if you don't look where you are going at all.

Errrrmmmmmm.... unrealistic mod my big toe fungus constantly need bandages :steammocking::steammocking: that's what mfers be sayin when they see a completely optional mod that they could just scroll past, dont really see this much on mod menus and yknow thats def realistic like i can pop up a menu and spawn a hot dog irl.

Simple question to you guys; do you go on purpose in every mods to let the authors know that """you""" don't like their work ?
I don't give a shit about Anthro mod, just so you know, but I'm not going on the commentary section to let the author that, me personnaly, think this is ridiculous and shouldn't exist.
So, be smart, give this guy a break

Feet calluses are just nasty, evolution or not .. our brain evolved and invented shoes. wear em
KaanAvali 1 月 20 日 上午 8:24
I actually used to date a guy who constantly went on hikes in the forest barefoot.

And not your chill forest path, nah, tropical completely wild forest. He never had a single issue.

the term blood transmission or contamination rings a bell. - oh and athletes foot contagion, or parasite infliction knawing of the foot, or maybe the flesh eating fungal from walking over the decay dead in the soil being lingered. - theres many reasons aye?

It always does annoy me when people freak out about myself or others walking around barefoot. Like they kno there was a time before humans made and wore shoes right?? Lmao
