I think it would be nice to have an option to customize which weapons it can drop, since having it dropping grenade launcher or M60 was a bit too OP imo.

I believe I found the solution :steamhappy:

Since the reserve ammo section was left blank, the game gave it the default value of 0, so if we declare it ourselves, we can now have reserve ammo!

For example, to give the AK47 ammo, we use this:

SpawnEntityFromTable("weapon_rifle_ak47", {Ammo = 360, origin = position1, angles = angles1.ToKVString()})

And it will now give it the default value of 360 ammo in reserve!

Ok so the temporary solution I've found is to combine it with your ammo reserve script, giving it effectively both abilities.

as for me, it has no ammo reserve except the magazine. Every Rng games it spawns has none of it

Well shit, I hadn’t even realised that, but I guess it checks out. I’d picked up a hunting rifle during testing and couldn’t reload it but it didn’t click with me that it would’ve been caused by spawning them that way.

I’ll fix it if I can, but if not then the next best thing would be to deploy them near ammo packs for the instant refill. Either that, or I could make a version of the mod that spawns a single use ammo pack on the ground so everyone can refill one weapon with ammo.

I picked up this addon and noticed the weapons not having any ammo on them too. However, I think this is just something to do with the game itself and I'm not sure if it can be fixed or not. There's another mod that tries to RNG all spawned weapons on every map, and it runs into the same problem. The issue isn't that you can't reload, it's that the weapons from the box don't have any ammo to begin with, so you gotta find where the next ammo pile on whatever map you are playing is and refill.

This is actually a really nice idea because I've never bothered to use those fire/explosive bullet boxes, like ever. I've always rendered them kinda useless,especially for only one mag. Plus those explosive bullets fuck you if you're backed into a corner lol. I've seen you on the forums Geebanger0, great work on this. You have a lot of good content in your workshop. Kudos to you.
