Pushed a patch to address the aforementioned two issues. It's, uhhh...possible some new stuff got added, too. I'm not sure anymore. I just keep working on this mod as if it was a parasite taking over my nervous system.

FreshCloth/DC found the issue while I was at work. On one of that monster's attacks, I'd used the abbreviation CON (Constitution) for the stat the damage is based on because I had a brain-fart. Elin uses END/Endurance, not CON! I'll fix it tonight.

@Wolfguarde: There's probably something that isn't configured just right on one of that monster's abilities that's causing Gans not to be able to display it. I'll check and see if I can see what it is at a glance tonight when I fix the VISHNU problem.

Found an error/conflict with GanExtendDisplay and the "Driceradops" creature from this mod, when holding Alt to open the full info display breakdown for the creature. It works as normal with other creatures (including other creatures from this mod), just not this one in particular for some reason.

Not sure whether this is a GED issue or an E+O issue, so I've posted this to the comment sections of both.

It's alright, it was a bit confusing when I first saw it happen, I thought maybe there was some strange mod conflicts or mod configurations on my game that was causing it, but then I had the Vishnu Incarnation spawn in a nefia, and that's when I realized it was probably something to do with using the same name internally!

Was glad I could discover this so I could report it, so it could be fixed, didn't want other people getting confused as to what was happening too!

I look forward to the patch, but don't worry if you need more time before you have spare time to fix it, it's not a big deal, and it can wait!

So currently, the Vishnu Incarnation is replacing VISHNU the cyborg who you can recruit from Doga Ruins Camp, I think because it's using the same internal name (vishnu) and so it overwrites what's already there from the game? I was working on recruiting Tycho and VISHNU and just noticed that he now spawns as a hostile Vishnu Incarnation every time. Hope this is something that's easy to fix!

こちらとしても、なぜスポーンしないのかを判断するのが非常に難しいため、可能であれば『player.log』のコピーを送っていただければ、原因があるか確認できます。

Pushed an update adding a few new monsters, but mostly it was to correct issues encountered by JP players who were encountering nameless monsters (and getting issues when accidentally sculpting them).

As always, please report issues you encounter, be they errors or gross imbalances. This is a huge project and a little overwhelming to catch everything.

Some portraits are already in-game actually: wolf sister, Anubis sister, a couple of the Performaids, and Chaoshaprincess MEM all have portraits I generated an image for and then doctored to fit Elin's style a bit better.

I personally wouldn't mind as long as it isn't the most generic 1girl you get from popular models/services, but if you fear backlash, maybe you could make it an optional mod, dependent on this one.

@MIYAGI: I will give them placeholder names. The issue stems from the names for evolutions not being stored in the db_creature that stores all the normal monster names, so I left the JP spots empty until I could figure out where they are...

There are several nameless enemies (such as bipedal pigs), and an error occurs when trying to obtain the character sculpture.

Seeking input on something from this mod's users: I lack the skill or finances to produce portraits for this mod's unique characters. Using AI to generate portraits has drawn a lot of negativity in a couple of my other mods...

Would people prefer I just leave them without portraits, or just ignore the negativity and include the edited portraits made from AI images?

Oh, I see! I'm very sorry about that. I don't know why that would have happened, but it's possible something went weird when I was resorting the spreadsheet... If you join the official Discord and can upload your save's 'game.txt', I think I can save-edit the chicken back into the Chaoshaprincess, if you still have the chicken!

Going to need to investigate this more thoroughly. I spawn every new character ID as an enemy to check for errors, and when I implemented the a black porc a month or so ago it worked fine...but Noe it's throwing errors for me. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Enemy Black Porc seems to use ConProvoke, causing the same error as ConRegeneration, and something that gives some debuff that endlessly creates a status with gibberish name every turn.

Okay, I belieive I've isolated the problem, just...trying to fix it now. In a little bit I'll upload a temporary patch to just keep any of the mods' spells from spawning as books/scrolls/rods/potions.

That being said, some classes (Geomancer, Creator, and Employee) are broken. They have 6 magic domains.

They're not broken per se.
Its just that things like "Gourmet" or "Way of Witch" don't benefit anybody but the player character, and this mod adds more classes with those traits. So on average NPC Adventurers are weaker.

1) There was a stealth update a few days ago that added quite a few new monsters and fixed some broken abilities that were previously reported. I'm in my busy season at work so the amount of free time and brain power I have is very limited: sorry for the lack of a change log.

@SooSoo Although the benefits might not be visible properly on the chargen class selection screen, all of the classes should be providing benefits. Can you give me an example?

Playing with this mod made a lot of the randomly generated adventurers start with classes like Employee or Doctor, which are more player character oriented and don't give out normal buffs. I think that's regrettable.

I double-checked and 'Terror' is a 'Hobby' intended for a few specific monsters and uniques where they dramatically raise the danger level of the settlement (instead of decreasing it), but provide various treasures and corpses (probably of tourists who never arrived!) to you. One of the monsters with it must have spawned along the outskirts of the Tinker Camp...but I hadn't actually copied the hobby's data into the mod's source file from the Google spreadsheet I prep stuff while I'm not home. It's fixed now, I'll upload the new version when I get a chance. If you kill the monster 'Hellabyrinth Ruler' that should temporarily fix the problem.

Greetings!

I received the following error:
"KeyNotFoundException: The given key 'Terror' was not present in the dictionary."

This happened once randomly while I was in a dungeon, and then happened consistently when I tried to interact with a Fortune Drum. I tried deactivating other mods, but this one seems to be the one causing it, and it looks like a similar issue was reported a few days ago. Still, if I am mistaken and this mod is not the one causing the error, I do apologize!

@Cdaniii: That is not currently planned because it would completely unbalance the game. Early in this mod's development I'd been trying to emulate the speed of Elona+ monsters and...uh, it was awful.

Sorry users, I'd meant to get one last update out before my internet access becomes extremely limited until the 2nd of next month, but... That did not happen.

I was reading on the forum that in Elona there were ways to train speed, like eating raw speed rings. Do you plan to add mechanics like that to the mod?

Let me just...remove the Death Mark from Toki Bird right now. I was trying to be smart and use an incomplete spell the dev has in the game files, but it doesn't currently track which enemy cast it, so the spell doesn't end when the caster dies.

how to handle the toki birds? just kill them before they see you? I thought having a companion with lay on hands would save my character from it's death curse but it seems not

I answered this question on Discord, but let me post my response here in case anyone else is interested:

The Claymore/Silvereye Witch's class/entry was a backer reference to the Claymore manga where girls had monster cores surgically inserted into them to fight other monsters. The more they fought the more unstable their bodies get until they start to transform into a monster themselves. It doesn't show on the creation screen, but they actually a passive Vorpal effect chance to bypass defense like with the original class, too. I added it to the description because I couldn't get it to display properly. But, I added Mutating Body to better reflect the source material. I thiiink it's possible to just never advance it if the additional body parts are undesired. The reason I didn't give weapon mastery is because I wanted to avoid overlap with Warrior. I adjusted their stat spread to distinguish them as much as possible.
