@L_M , afaik, this one only remove the ammo piles with gnome skin that's spawned when using "Convert To Gnome", but it won't remove the real gnome. Probably a mod conflict with that mod.
As for ammo, the value is how much ammo is consumed per lightning that gnome uses. For example, if you set it to 10, 10 ammo will be consumed each time the gnome attacks.

hmm its kinda hard find gnome if i didnt turn on that "convertToGnome", any way to making it drop 50/50?

oh and i try this plugin CSO Supply Box [github.com], it can drop gnome too, but whenever i try pick it up, its dissapear. maybe bcs the conflict mod of it?

@Sieg Rem , the cfg file is located in "ems" folder in your L4D2 game folder. It's named "lil gnome warrior". As for gnome spawn on the medkit box, yes, if you set "Convert To Gnome" to 1.

@Sieg Rem , Lil Gnome Warrior has better performance & optimization. The Survivor's Light Guardian is the prototype of this mod, so it still needs some updates for optimization.

@Unst , the common & special infected spawn should be no problem. The only problem right now would be gnome's attack. It could bypass wall. I'm still not familiar enough to put "Traceline" (usually it's used to check an object the player is looking at) on an object other than players, so I'll need to study more about some turret mods first.

The effect of when you defeat or destroy the evil gnome might not be as necessary, I think, to prevent players from being confused about whether they killed him or he has escaped; There should be a message that you defeated the evil gnome.

@Unst , there are some ways to make an evil gnome spawn & start to pursue survivors like a countdown/ "Time Attack"/ "Escape Mode" mode. The mechanisms I have in mind are like this:
- Spawn evil gnome in saferoom in several seconds or minutes after survivors spawn.
- When evil gnome spawns, he'll do a short warp every few seconds with survivors as the destination.
- If survivors are close enough to the gnome (like 1x or 2x melee range), evil gnome will attack them with either lightning bolt or other magics.
- If it's "Time Attack"/ "Escape" mode, evil gnome can't be killed.
- Alternatively, if gnome can be killed, he can respawn randomly when special infected spawns (sometimes he spawns, sometimes he doesn't).
- A notification about evil gnome will pop up if he spawns together with special infected.

I hope that one day there will be a mod where there is an enemy gnome, doing the impossible so that the survivors do not escape, it would look good with the skin called "Creepy Gnome" I think 😅

@K_N , probably because both use "TAB + SHOVE". Probably it's more like a shared feature by accident, when gnome directly goes to virtual inventory like that. It's also possible to change the combination keys though, like "RELOAD + SHOVE".

As for the missing gnome when trying to deploy more than 1 gnome warrior, that's an update fix instead, to prevent too many gnome warriors spawned by the same survivor. So, each survivor can only spawn one gnome warrior.

if you use 'gnome magic turret' mod with this mod, everytime you want to pick it up the gnome instantly saved to virtual invent

it affect too if you hold gnome while gnome warrior deploy, if you want to saved that gnome you hold, that both of gnome will be gone and if you try deploy it, it just spawn one gnome

@Yek , for random effects on each gnome's attack, it's possible to be made. But if it's a gnome warrior with different attack type when spawned, I haven't tested it yet, but I think it should be possible. As for ice/ cold attack, I'm not sure if there's particle effect suitable for this.

What do you think about how each survivor can have a warrior gnome, but with a different type of attack, it's not that all survivors have their gnome of only one type of attack, that is, it can be configured, or well, it would be like a more specific option, that is, a survivor puts a gnome warrior of a certain type of attack in specific, for more variety, for example: Nick with his gnome with the fire attack type

@Gumbs , all players can see the effects, but the effects will be based on particle effect mods they use too. For example, if they use some mods that make particle effects look cooler, they'll see those effects. If other players don't use any particle effect mods, they'll see the basic L4D2 particle effects instead.
About number of infected, does it mean about how many infected can be attacked by gnome at the same time? Pribably it could be possible too, but it needs more tests.
Btw, I just updated the mod & added a limitation to only 1 gnome for each survivor. Now, other gnome warriors from the same survivor will be removed & only one gnome is left.

@Gumbs , the reason why there can only be one gnome is because no matter how many gnome warriors are spawned, once the owner pick either one of them back, only one gnome returns. As for the reason why the game closes/ crashes, that's most likely because there are too many particle effects spawned when there's more than one gnome for each survivor. The attack range can also affect it, as the more enemies getting hit by lightning bolt, the more particle effects are created. You can also set "Extra Effects" to 0 to remove other effects except the lightning bolt, in case if there are players spawning multiple gnome warriors for themselves. Btw I think it's also possible to prevent the summon of 2nd gnome warrior on each survivor.

According to what I read that there can only be one active warrior gnome for each survivor, but I realized that that survivor or player can put more than one, but since after a while the game closes, I think that's why you should do it so that you can only have one active gnome, if that survivor who already has an active warrior gnome, try putting another warrior gnome, the gnome just falls to the ground or disappears, as you see fit, and after that, a message pops up for that survivor who can only have one warrior gnome active.

@K_N , I think it's a leftover from the past version that I forgot to delete. Originally, I wanted to make it so when a survivor throws a gnome, "Gnome Warrior" will be summoned. But then I remembered about "Gnome Turret" & it might conflict with that mod, so I changed it to "CTRL + SHOVE" instead. Just follow the instructions from the mod description on this page instead. I'll change that description on the cfg on the next update when adding "Gnome Magic Uses Ammo" feature.

@K_N , & the attack range could also affect it, as wider range = more zombies getting hit = more particle effects generated. The default range of 300 is safe enough with normal amount of zombies (I tested on "Nightmare House 2" custom campaign last time from map 1 to finale & it went well).

@K_N , type 6 actually isn't much different from type 3, except on the pushback effect on special infected & tank instead of stumble. Did you crash when the "Gore Mode" is enabled? Some common infected mods don't support gore/ dismemberment, so if you have common infected mods, it's better to disable "Gnome Gore Mode".

funny thing that type 6 attack is what my game crash (sorry for my potato laptop:steamsad:)

overall its already fixed but im not tested yet combine with "gnome magic turret" mod, i hope it didnt bug so bad:steamthumbsup:

@K_N , I'll update the mod soon. I think I found the bug. There's an error on console that only showed up when I used only this mod. Probably my other mods fixed that error on console so it didn't look like there's a problem. Anyway, thanks for showing the bug on the video.

i already test type 0 to 5 and that work fine its just attack type 2, but i must get pinned first for SI and no effect for common
