This means that for basically any other system you would be good with just one argument for initModule. For example,

@jupiter878 This is due to lootrangebooster being coded differently into the game itself, comparing to all other modules: instead of getBonuses (which is used by initModule by default) it has getLootCollectionRange. This is the only exception (seems like later devs standardised code of modules), so only lootrangebooster has it. It isn't connected to anything else, including my other mod.

Yup, I've been enjoying it enough to try and modify this for other subsystems as well. Just for personal use.

It seems to be surprisingly smooth and straightforward, though I'm unsure about one thing, if you don't mind me asking.

In here, why does only the loot range booster (tractor beam upgrade) get a second thing besides its lua name? Is this just related to your other mod, or would I have to consider more than one thing for some other subsystems as well?

@gromsinatr Very strange, since this mod doesn't interfere in any way with vanilla object detector. Check the module rarity: it may be too low to highlight objects. If the issue still persists, check mods you are playing with: possibly, one of them breaks highlighting.

this has broken all object detector modules. they will notify me that there are object of value but they do not highlight them. Both the vanilla object detector modules and this modded one do the same thing. Doesnt matter how close or if they cover whole sector they simply will NOT highlight the valuable object, just tell you that there are valuable objects.

I have an exotic. It complains about not having a transporter block if i remove it so that part functions but i get the error that my r-mining fighters cannot pickup ore and the tooltip of the thing doesnt show fighter cargo pickup

This module seems to drop from enemies far too much. We're trying it on a new server, and.. I'm finding them all the time, of all rarities. And since these are worth far more than most mods, it ends up a balance problem.

DLCs don't affect this mod, so it should work with any combination of them.

About equipment station: probably, you just need to wait for it to renew its stock. Also, there's a slight chance that there will be none "U. A. Companion" in stock at any equipment station, so, possibly, you just got unlucky!

@Adamo,"Длительность подсветки" - На сколько я знаю, время когда видно что-то ценное. А включить сканер можно если зажать Shift и передвинуть курсор в правый верхний угол, там будет кнопка сканера другой текстуры, нажимаешь и он работает, потом идёт кулдаун.

In restrospective yes, I am too far from loot. I dont know why I read the range was like 2 km but its less than a KM

@Ignat001 I checked i dont have extrem range nor tractor, I have the golden version of the module with 0.71km extra range. Server should not be lagging i dont even know howcan you change the tractor beam ? there are no other issues besides that . Also server is fine, I have a 5800x3d with 64gb of ram so in theory this is not laggy at all.

Он вообще не меняет баланс, объединяя только модули, повышающие удобство игры (смотри картинку). То есть по факту он просто экономит время и сокращает мороку (мол, так бы ты собрал один или несколько кораблей чисто для этих допмодулей и постоянно пересаживался между ними, транспортировал груз, а этот модуль эту бесполезную трату времени упрощает)

Так что этот модуль совершенно неимбалансен. Возможно, в будущем разрабы и сами интегрируют нечто подобное.

This is not the issue with the mod, but with the tractor beam itself. Maybe you have extreme range for it? I heard that if you set it to 10-20+ km it won't work at all. Or, possibly, your server is lagging: this results in several bugs, such as jumping ships, zero hp ships, inability of jumping to another sector, tractor beam not working, etc

Maybe a comptability issue, but I am having an issue where items wont drag into my ship? unless I move around and sometimes not even.

This mod id is 3405165145. According to your modconfig.lua, this mod isn't initialised on your server / not installed. Try resubscribing to the mod and overwriting server mods ("Override Galaxy's Mods" button). Though I never used 4netplayer, so you may need to ask them or Avorion Discord.

I'm having some issues with having your mod show up on my server, I use 4netplayer rented server hosting and the subsystem doesn't show up in loot or at equipment docks... Any help please?

@Shroomy It takes all the systems combined. Example: Tractor Beam is 5cr, Transporter sftw is 10 cr, everything else is 0cr. Then this module will cost 15cr. Though you gave me an idea of implementing factor to the cost, so that it would be factor*15cr in this case. I will need some time to implement it.

This module takes parameters of its subsystems and summarizes them. If you want to increase its loot collection radius, install appropriate mod for loot collection subsystem (if none suit you, write me and I'll create it). If you want to modify price, install mod for modifying price of original subsystems. Or you want something else?
