Oh i though hla had them not blood but its wierd that they always have blood on thier legs even if they dont have on thier mouth thats surely clue for half life 3 relase date

actually the only headcrabs to have red legs not from blood are in the half-life 1 alpha (its entirely red) and hla
the hl2 and hl1 crabs both use blood overlays on their legs
inspect the textures and you will see this

V that is a skin based on the pre-release/ Beta Headcrab. This is an entirely different skin based on the retail Headcrab skin.
