The Owl, Alonso doesn't die. He just uses "death" as an excuse to win on Indy.

Things I don't like:

- Drivers are too expensive, I did a season as Williams and it was impossible to have enough money to retain Sainz and Albon for season 2. I fixed this by modding the amount of money I had in my save.JSON. Not ideal and not very satisfying for long-term play.

- Drivers change teams too much. I'm not sure if there's a way to change this or it's part of the Golden Lap mechanics.

- Drivers dying. I had Norris, Russell and Alonso die in the first season.

- The spoof names of the new drivers eg. Marc Versteegen, Lucas Humberton etc. These could be replaced with up and coming drivers from F2 and F3

Fantastic mod! But yeah, more driver traits in the next update would be awesome!

Oh, and about the questionable team line ups, you can fix this by modding new Season Teams Rewards (I would add much more money for each finishing position), so all the CPU teams and player team will have more money to allow to afford the higher stats of the drivers (in comparison to the base game)

@ChenyaoXue Sure! In one of the recent updates, I had cleared all the perks to experiment with some balance changes, but in the next update I can add at least one perk for each driver.

Not having a good time with this. In the second season, only the top 3 teams have normal line-ups, the rest of the teams either went for really questionable driver choices (Mazepin, Nissany, etc) or cheap filler drivers.

Hello there. When will there be a new update? :D Also there is a lot of subjective comments on here so I'd advice you to use F1 statistics (formula1points as an example).

You're right, I haven't been able to test the mod enough due to my work, and I still haven't updated it. I had more time while preparing the F1 2024 mod. But I definitely want to complete this one as well.

Hint: add more active driver at 0/1 $ cost (so 1 speed and 1 focus and possibly little to no traits). Personally going into the second season after arriving like 7th or 8th in the standings and so having 50$ or so to build my team i run into a softlock, not having enough money even to build the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the teams.
There were only two drivers at 0$ and the rest of the pool cost 15$ or more, too much if u play with a small team considering u have to spend ur money on car+engineer+crew chief+ 2 drivers

Honestly. to me it seems that u dind't tested the mod or u just tested it with a top team and all went fine for u having more money to spend.

2 things:

1- Yes u can turn off drivers death chance by setting to TRUE "DisableDriverDeath" found in 3 row of ModFolder->Data->Game->ModSetting.json. btw is the same file u use to mod the decade of start.

2- The mod is not playable, there is a very little pool of driver in the first season and that means (if u don't have a lot of money)u r softlocked in building your team for season 2, since all the have "good stats".

@powergame654 This is a feature of the game and it cannot be turned off through modding.
