How do I transfer my casettes to work in the Lifestyles Jukebox menu? It only plays prerecorded music using that option. I can listen to my casettes with the oldies jukebox menu just fine. I think it worked automatically in B41

Turn on the Normal music, i cant degrease the Volume and none of the 2 Buttons work to shut the Jukebox off

For what it's worth, everything is still golden in B41, and y'all can always come back to us.

That is tragic if it's accurate. I am not modding B42 actively, but if anyone sends a solution, I will update and test it. I can't promise to look into this any time soon, myself, because I just don't have any interest in B42 until it's cooked, and I'm busy playing and occasionally tweaking things in B41, as well as playing other games. Norby is the one who updated the mod for B42, and I know he has been busy with life outside Zomboid, so I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing this fixed rapidly in B42. Sorry for the loss of everyone who was using this in B42 until that update.

Causes base game sounds to go mute. Probably conflict with latest B42 patch.

Yup just pull the instructions from the box and get a screwdriver :) clicking on the box gives the option of getting the instructions.

I'm having a problem with the playlist menu. Not all tracks are displayed (but they still play if I let them play or skip to the next one). Only the previous 24, the current one, and the next 24 are displayed. It's normal ?

The current 41 and b42 both match at 20.1lbs. I will leave them the same for now, there might be a reason for that. Would rather check in with Burryaga first. The original weight was 21lbs.

weird, will look at the weight issue... no idea about the dancing... animations are kinda messed up in 42 that might slow down a mod that would add that. Not planning any big changes until 42 goes multiplayer because it may need a bit of an update when we get there.

Was not really thinking in that direction, however, there has been talk to make a mixed tape system that would allow transfer between them as a list of songs.

You must have the lifestyles mod on, use one or the other but not both. They updated after this one did and changed something to cause an interaction in 42. The jukebox has a volume slider but lifestyles has an "increase" "decrease" context menu thing. I don't trust mods that don't go to eleven.

Corrected the recipes removed in the last patch, it was the AutoLearn change...

quick version: recipe syntax changed, so replace "AutoLearn" with "AutoLearnAny" and "temcount" with "flags[ItemCount]"

Updated the mod: Removed the skillful construct and craft jukebox recipes to get the mods working again after 42.1... will repair as soon as I can figure out why these two recipes broke.

In case anyone's wondering, it appears this mod needs to be updated for the newly-released 42.1.
The game will crash after launching with the mod active, or if activating in-game it'll give Error 3 and need to be force-closed.

(Delete default.txt at C:\users\NAME\Zomboid\mods to deactivate all mods and successfully launch the game again)

At least until the dust settles, I would use both at your own risk. While little changed in the jukebox from 41 to 42, I suspect a lot changed in lifestyles.

I found it... if there is no music in the jukebox it won't populate the submenus by design.

@McGuigz Sometimes when first placed the jukebox needs to update and gain it's abilities. A second time should bring up the menu. It appears to be working in local testing. Are you using any mods that affect the jukebox besides this one?

@Pitlos Tails Are you loading the 42 version of Lifestyles as well? I was not able to recreate the box issue but I noticed Lifestyles is out and it doesn't turn off. Also this mod doesn't add lights to the jukebox, that was lifestyles. I imagine they changed code between 41 and 42 probably added some bugs.

oh and now if you add cds ect they just disappear

theres a big bug here. if you have the jukebox on the second floor and stack 3 wood boxes on the floor below the jukebox will break. it will just break and will get an outline if you move close to it. you will also be able to see part of the wall/background on the floor below, the textures will become messy unless you move around it. picking it up fixes the bug but makes another bug where you cannot get lights when turning it on, cannot turn it off or stop/control music and if you put casettes or cds in or out of it it either crashes or freezes for 5-10 sec

Not sure if you can, but I feel playing music at the safehouse should effect the boredom moodle. I mean it's not like listening to music isn't fun lol. If it's not possible no worries, great mod regardless!

Try unsubscribing and resubscribing or removing the files in the mod folder and see if that corrects the issue. It may have just gotten corrupted after downloading.
